Now there's a real man. I wouldn't want to fight that dude.
Fri Nov 04, 2005 8:24 am
Damn, talk about bizarre. The guy kinda talked as if it wasn't really a big deal. "I just grabbed him by the horns and pushed down."
Fri Nov 04, 2005 8:30 am
The guy must be 6'8" and a solid 280 to fight off a deer!
Fri Nov 04, 2005 8:40 am
Thats an everyday thing in a Hick Town
Fri Nov 04, 2005 11:11 am
That guy is one helluva MAN. Major props to him.

Bambi didn't stand a chance.
For 40 exhausting minutes, Wayne Goldsberry battled a buck with his bare hands..
When it was over, blood splattered the walls and the deer lay on the bedroom floor, its neck broken.
Whoa.
He's THE MAN!
Fri Nov 04, 2005 12:30 pm
lol, seen this earlier.
i was thinking if he purposely put blood on his walls and like bring a dead buck in...
so he can make the news and become a hero..

haha i heard this on the radio yesterday.
he should be up for man of the year in MAXIM
can you imagine fighting someone, let alone a deer, for 40 minutes? full contact competitions like UFC don't even last past 15 minutes and they get rests between rounds. cars come out of it worse when they collide into deers. this is just simply amazing for that guy to come out victorious. and he even dragged out the deer after
this guy deserves his own budweiser "real american hero...we salute you, mr. X" commercial

rofl, the first thing I though of were those Budweiser commercials. I'd salute him. But the thought of a buck just charging through a window and barreling through a house cracks me up.

Him and the deer did rest for a while though,
Goldsberry entered the bedroom to confront the deer and, after a brief struggle, emerged to tell his wife to call police. After returning to the bedroom, the fight continued.
It was a 2 round fight.

He deserves more than that, he deserves his own brand of beer.

bucks that see their reflection in windows often charge them, believing the mirror image to be a rival.
It's all funny until someone gets gorged and killed by those antlers.

it was a life and death situation- i guess they're entitled to a little rest in between trying to kill each other hehe
true, he deserves some kind of real accolade.

and the man's name: Verne Troyer a.k.a. Minime
Mon Nov 07, 2005 4:59 pm
^^ Uhm, no.
Wayne Goldsberry battled a buck with his bare hands in his daughter's bedroom.
Try reading the article will you.
If that was a joke, I didn't get it.
Mon Nov 07, 2005 5:09 pm
Verne Troyer is the midget (er...little person) who played Mini-Me in the Austin Powers movies. It was a joke.
Mon Nov 07, 2005 5:16 pm
I know who Verne Troyer aka MiniMe is.
It's kind of hard to get the joke when the facts are stated in an article. Guess I should try not reading sometimes.
