It's worked all this time & there have been no complaints. If people can adjust themselves to the rules, why can't you?

I think the 90x90 avatar size is actually standard. As for the sigs, it makes reading and browsing easier. I'd actually bitch if there were 300 pixel high sigs which means more loading time and more scrolling just to read people's messages. That being said, the rules in effect work great for browsing.

I've though to myself how it is a touch annoying to make sigs just 100 pixels high, but then I've thought of how stupid it would be to complain over about 30 pixels. It's not hard to adjust, we all have.

No, we're not kidding. Those are the limits, which were agreed to the last time we amended the rules.

I think the size limits are perfect. It keeps things organized and tidy. For ex. in other forums you can put tons of pics below your sig. Not a good thing when it comes to loading.

And there are still users who browse the forum with a 56K modem, so making sigs and avatars bigger would be a pain for them. You've got to be considerate of others Malfa.
