Kill! Kill! Kill! - Jimmy Massey on the war

Sat Oct 29, 2005 8:01 pm

There is a new book out called Kill!Kill!Kill!, written by Jimmy Massey an american who served in the MiddleEast. American publishers won't publish his book so he found a french publisher and is still looking for other ones. He was on the Dutch TV Network doing an interview. He sat there talking to the interviewer talking about the warcrimes he committed (he didnt get punished), he killed several (innocent civilians). He blames the US-gov for the atrocities happening there. The strongest point he made during the interview: 'If I could ask Bush just one question, when a soldier kills a civilian, how can you not expect the people to think 'if they kill one of us, we will kill 100 of them' and turn into a rebel.' (something along the lines of that)

to find more search on google for "Jimmy Massey" or "Kill!Kill!Kill!"

the interview i saw was quite remarkable, he was explaining about his time in the Middle East, admitting to committing warcrimes, talking about how he felt when he killed people who turned out to be innocent. At one point he explains he felt euforic after his first kill. several people were coming towards the troops and they started shooting, aiming at their heads. These were unarmed civilians. He shot somebody through the head and felt euforic, because now he was a real marine. 'Because you're not a real marine until you have shed blood'.

His story brings quite a different perspective to what is really going on there, the number of warcrimes, the circumstances. It also underlines that people, under certain circumstances, will act the way he acted and do the most grueling things, they would never think about doing ordinarily. Just makes you wonder if you yourself would also commit crimes, if you were trained for years to kill in the army, and were then put into a war situation. In any case I am glad I'm not a soldier.

on a side note. How much does it take for a president (BUSH) to step down? It's controversy after controversy, the pressure must be mounting for him now.
- lying to the world about having solid evidence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
- poor response and preparation for Katrina
- the latest: Libby stepping down (a repercussion of his criticism on the administration and the iraq-war)
- stories of US soldiers committing warcrimes (there are plenty vids on the net)
- 2000 US soldiers killed so far (and how many with ruined lives we dont know)
- Unable to find Bin Laden
the list goes on and on

I agree that war crimes do occur, but I think Jimmy Massey is just an attention whore and a profiteer. Why release a book on the war crimes he committed? To give attention to the atrocities that the US commits?
The whole world has already been made aware of that, he could just vent his opinions and expose those things by going to credible media outlets (if there is one). If he's really concerned and wants to expose about the crimes that is being committed in the war then he should give himself up first, after all he did admit that he committed some war crimes.
He's just a profiteering attention whore. IMO

Sounds like an interesting read. I'm currently reading Jarhead right now.

He didn't lie about anything. A lot of countries had the same intelligence as America, including countries like China and Russia. And in the War in Iraq we have found weapons that Saddam is banned from having. The WMD's are/were there. We know they were because Saddam admitted to having them.

How is this Bush's fault? FEMA isn't designed to prepare for natural diasters and save towns. I was built to help recover and rebuild. The local government (Damn Gov) should have been more prepared to evacuate. President Bush called for a state of emergency 3 days before the storm hit. The Gov had hundreds of buses sitting in the parking lot that they could have loaded up people in and drive out of town. Don't you dare blame that on President Bush, but if you do, so be it.

- the latest: Libby stepping down (a repercussion of his criticism on the administration and the iraq-war)

What did Libby do? He gave out a name of a CIA agent who is in America and who wasn't undercover. In fact, her neighbors knew she was a CIA agent. Why didn't we know? Because we didn't care. The media could have easily gone over there and asked for her name. She wasn't in any danger at all. And they have no evidence on the case so they are trying him perjury. The same thing President Clinton was tried for and the lefties thought that was insane. It's gotten ridiclious. But how is this placed on Bush's plate?

- stories of US soldiers committing warcrimes (there are plenty vids on the net)

War crimes happen in practically every war. It has nothing to do with the President of the United States. What is Bush doing? Is he telling his soldiers to commit war crimes? Give me a break. You are searching for things now.

- 2000 US soldiers killed so far (and how many with ruined lives we dont know)

2,000 isn't that bad considering how large of a military operation it was. To put into perspective. In the "Great War" aka WWI, Russia lost over 9 million people in the war. 9 MILLION PEOPLE. America lost about 1,500 and we were barely involved in the war. I could throw out numbers from Vietnam and WWII, too.

- Unable to find Bin Laden

Yet, they are still looking. They found Saddam. And if Clinton would have done something right Bin Laden would be in US custody. Anyways, if tomorrow America catches Bin Laden you'll be the first one to say "it's not a big deal" so I don't hold this to much thought.

the list goes on and on

Please go on.
