cool.

I'm 90% sure i'll be getting Foxtel. Beats going to the Casino to watch a game (although having a beer aint so bad).

Too bad Australia has some of the worlds highest cable TV prices.

I looked at the ESPN (US) schedule, and they have some odd games. Only a few are mouth watering encounters. Still, i hope we get that scheduled Detroit vs NYK game.

U guys may get lucky this year since ABC is now ESPN's parent company. So maybe they will show the finals (ABC BROADCAST) on your pacific rim ESPN station.

It sucks you do not get ESPN or ESPN Classic year round... They had a dunk comp marathon last month. I TIVO'd all the good years.

they used to but not anymore.

I don't think we'll get plenty of Bucks games, since its for the Pacific region so that includes other countries.

We get at least one though, the opener. Thought I might have seen a couple of others in there too, most likely thanks to Bogut.

Yeah, we generally get the ABC broadcast of the NBA Finals (as opposed to the "ESPN International" commentary team dubbed over the ABC crew) so I'd say it will be the same this year. ESPN Australia also rebroadcasts some FSN and TNT games, especially during the playoffs (and often in their bonus coverage).

I love the old TNT stuff with Hubie Brown. FSN also shows some good games. Looks like it's hsaping up to be a good year.

Good thing Bucks won't suck totally this year.

No, we still get Spurs vs Cavs, but we'll get to see the Bucks/Nets game before that. Hard as it is to believe, we actually got a change for the better.

Okies....that's good. 2 is better than 1, but if anything i'd prefer the Cavs Spurs game.

Does anyone else here prefer the old TNT coverage that we got from TNT on Fox Sports. ESPN's advantage is they show highlights from other games and they have a halftime show. TNT though was more entertaining and the matches they showed were always more exciting than ESPN's.

I prefer TNT's team, no question. The random selection of broadcasts we used to get on FTA back in the day was even better in that regard.

5th- (Y)
12th- :?: two relatively weak teams but there's iverson, kobe, odom, webber, iguadola so it might be a decent game
17th- (N)
19th- (Y) i like LeBron
26th- (Y) always enjoy shaq making the Mavs his bitch

we should do some betting on these games all season.

The on-screen guide and the Foxtel website still list the Bucks/Nets game for next Thursday.
