They're boring and flat. There is very little contrast in the background, and the player pics don't have any effects on them. I suggest making the whole thing black and white and adding a 'curves' adjustment layer. As for the players, duplicate the layer, gaussian blur, and set it to overlay or soft light. You can experiment with other blend modes than those two, but they usually work best.

And add a border.

The Jay-Z pic looks very bland right now. The grey text is bland too, and you forgot the dash in the name. But the background looks good.

I used the 007 font. I know its pretty simple but since I'm not getting sig requests I'm just trying different stuff. My next sig will be an upgrade from the ones I'm making.

not your best, remove the scanlines and it will look better, now i know im not the master of making things look good, but i would put that pic to the left, put the text in the middle(just a slight move to the left) and put another picture of mickael pietrus on the right, i would like to see that result.

Pretty good man. Is that font 'Drakon'. I like to use it too.

The BG gets too blurry on the right side, and if you could de-saturate JKidd and stick him under your colour balance layers it would look sweet. And take a look at my Player Effects Tutorial, it's a very easy way to make your pics look a lot better.

Text colour or something needs to be changed IMO, it needs to stand out or be bigger a little bit
