Game Recap

The Rockets faced off with the 1-3 New Orleans/Oklahoma Hornets. As alot of us thought, this would be a fairly easy game for the 2-0 Rockets. The Hornets started off with a 12-4 run. But the Rockets bounced back quickly going on a 16-6 run. Then Chris Paul started knocking down shots in the 2nd quarter. At the end of the half, the Hornets were up 57-50. In the start of the 3rd quarter, Mike James got in fould trouble so David Wesley came into the game. But the Rockets started off slow again. The Hornets outscored the Rockets by 3 that quarter. The Rockets had one more quarter to come back. McGrady was in foul trouble with 5 fouls, but he still played tough defense. With about 3 and a half minutes, McGrady got called on an offensive foul. McGrady left the game with 24 points. Juwan Howard came in at the 3 spot for McGrady because Baxter, nor Bowen played a minute beforehand. The scorer is 96-98, Hornets winning. Coach Van Gudy calls a timeout. The inbound goes into rookie Luther Head, hes getting double teamed and sees Yao and Yao hits the runner with 37 seconds left. The Hornets calls a timeout. The inbound goes to JR Smith who pulls up for the trey but misses, Chris Anderson puts it back for 2 with 27 seconds left. The Hornets were now up, 98-100. Luther brings it up, he sees daylight and drives. He hits the layin with just 23 seconds. The score all tied up 100-100. With no timeouts remaining, Paul brings it up. He dishes to Smith who intends to take the last shot of the game. Anderson was all over him, Anderson gets called for a foul with 7 seconds remaining. JR hits both freethrows. The Rockets call a timeout. The inbound goes to Anderson. Anderson dribbles it out, he pumpfakes and fades to the left and hits the GW 3 AT THE BUZZER! THE ROCKETS COME AWAY WITH ANOTHER BREATHTAKING GAME!!

This should be an interesting match with the return of Artest. I had to put Yao and McGrady versus ONeal and Artest. Offensivley and Defensivley this will be a great match and Im looking forward to it.

Game Recap

The Rockets faced the Pacers today. Rockets started off pretty good. This game got intense near the end of the game. Tinsley was going up for a lay-up and he got fouled but injured by Juwan Howard. A few minutes later we found out that he could still play, but he didnt come back in. With 1:31 in the 4th, the score 92-87 Rockets, Luther Head drilled a 3 after crossing up Stephen Jackson. With 40 seconds left, the score 95-91 Rockets, Pacers had the ball. Bender put back a miss from Artest with 31 seconds remaining. Head brought the ball up and pulled up for the trey and missed. Indiana called a timeout with 20 seconds left. Artest got the inbound and pulls up from 15, he missed it. McGrady got the long rebound and sprinted upcourt for an easy 2 as no one could catch him to foul him. That sealed the deal for the Rockets.

November, 19, 2005
The Houston Chronicle - The Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers are getting close to a deal on which the Rockets will get Danny Granger. We dont know for who yet, but most likley a SG in return.

Granger was picked at number 17 by the Indiana Pacers. Granger who played 30 Games last year for New Mexico, averaged 30 minutes per game, 18.8 points per game 8.9 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game in his 3rd year at New Mexico. GM Shaun Callahan says "This would be an awsome pickup for us. Probally next year if he devlops we could start him at the 3 spot, put McGrady at the 2 and have Anderson coming off the bench."

We havnt found out anything besides that the Rockets are really interested in Granger. Hopefully we will find out more.

Game Recap

The Rockets played the 7-0 New Jersey Nets in Houston today. From the beginning the Nets were in control. Was it because of Derek Andersons injury alot of you are probally thinking? But mostl likly not. The Rockets still shouldnt have been 25 points IN Houston. Coach Van Gundy said "Even if we lost Stro and Anderson, we shouldnt have been blown out by 25 points, especially in Houston. Theres no reason for that, hopefully it doesnt happen again" The Rockets now fall to 6-2 as the Nets improve to 8-0. McGrady was the games high scorer with 34 points. McGrady finished with his first triple double of the season.

Today the Houston Rockets organization and the Toronto Raptors Organization have agreed to send David Wesley and Dikembe Mutumbo in exchange for Joey Grahm and Aaron Williams.

Rockets GM Shaun Callahan says "I think this trade will definalty benifit us. We were trying to get Granger, but Indiana wouldnt trade him unless Anderson was involved in the trade. But we onl gave up Wesley and Mutumbo for a rookie that has potential to be a good SG or SF."

What do u guys think of the trade?

Great trade for Houston but, in reality it's a lot impossible... Dikembe is an old man, Wesley is near to end... Can Toronto trade Graham for nothing??? Keep up the good work, you're a great addition as a GM for Houston society

He did something with the Nets because I saw it when I was doing my trades and roster updates before my Dynasty, but he ended up with Sacramento. Good job still (Y), what is your record?
