Scott -"Hey everyone, its Stuart Scott here at EA News. The Miami Heat announced today that they have re-signed free agent guard/forward Shandon Anderson. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed."

"Anderson, who originally signed with the Heat as a free agent on November 14, 2004, appeared in 65 games (five starts) with Miami and one with New York during the 2004-05 season. He averaged 3.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 17.7 minutes per game, while shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the foul line. "

"With the new Collective Bargain Agreement, each team is only alowed a 14-man roster. The Heat now have a 15-man roster. GM Shaun Callahan has informed us, since he still likes Payton, theres a chance of Barron, Walsh and/or Fitch will be shipped out to the NBDL."

Im not sure (in real life) who/were are heading since the Heat have a 16 man roster and are alowed only 14 men. Probally Fitch and Barron, but I like Barrons size, Im not sure yet, but If anything changes Ill fix it ASAP.

BTW I hope 06 has a thing were u can send players to the NBDL and it gives u a month or weekly report on how they are doing :)

Fri Sep 23, 2005 10:34 am

Lol, I wish..they won't.

Fri Sep 23, 2005 10:48 am

what do u mean?

Fri Sep 23, 2005 10:53 am

I wish they add where we send a player to NBDL. They won't.

Stuart Scott talks about the 05-06 Heat Team

Image

Scott - "Welcome back to EA News, Im Stuart Scott. One of the best Off-Season Transation Teams this summer were the Miami Heat. In a 5 team, 13-player deal, the Heat recieved Walker, Posey, Emmett, and Williams for Eddie Joes, Kenyon Dooling, and Rasual Butler. The Heat resigned Shaq, and Haslem. They signed Gary Payton. With a backcourt of Williams and Wade and Payton coming off the bench, the Heat have if not one of the best, then the best backcourts as of right now. Their frontcourt will have Shaq, Haslem, and Posey with Walker, Mourning, and Simien coming off the bench. Right now they have 5 All-Star caliber players in Wade, ONeal, Walker, Payton and Williams. The only teams in the East who can contend with the Heat will be Detroit, and Indiana. Hamilton nor Billups can handle Wade, Wallace can play Shaq. Jackson, Tinsley or Artest cant handle Wade, but Jermaine ONeal will be able to play Shaq but with difficulty. The Spurs, Rockets, and Suns will be a threat to the Heat. My prediction is that the Heat will win against the Spurs in 6 games in the NBA Finals. We'll be back after these messages."

Hope you guys like
