If you don't know, how should I know?
Establish good communication with her, and find out what the problem is.

Damn! I was thinking about it. Now that you brought it up, I'll definitely put Jung or Kraeplin up there.
And, you couldn't exactly call me a big fan of psychoanalisis, let's just say I'm an "advice giver" or something like that.

Can you come up with a leg-strength training routine, which involves alot of calf stretching.
I have shin-splints (medial tibial stress syndrome) so you need to consider this before jumping in with activities like running, jumping etc.
A nice challenge for you
thanks.

Actually, it is a nice challenge, and I have some Qs.

Since when do you have MTSS?

Do you have any stress "fractures" (I'm not sure if it is the same in English) along with the MTSS?

What happens after a brief session of exercise, how does your lower leg feel?
Wed Sep 21, 2005 11:01 am
hmmmm you're a physician now?
you really are a doctor of all trades Jona props to you man
Wed Sep 21, 2005 11:14 am
Nah, I'm just studying hard for it.
I strongly suppose you know a psychiatrist is a medical doctor.
Wed Sep 21, 2005 11:24 am
nah i didn't know that. although they are in the medical fields but that's not their specialty, pretty like engineers. i can't be in construction cause im no civil engineers. get my analogy?
anyways aren't you getting ready for college? the medical field is very rewarding my friend. my sis now is taking up medicine her 2nd year. in the days where doctors are exporting their asses to US and Europe, it will be very rewarding indeed
Wed Sep 21, 2005 11:33 am
How great to know that! Yup, I'm pretty exciting about getting into medschool, and specialty psychiatry, it's what I like most in life.

What exactly is Tendinitis . The doctor said I have it and he said that like 6 months ago.My left leg is hurting like crazy . can you give me an explanatino on what exactly is tendinitis.
Wed Sep 21, 2005 12:08 pm
It's inflammation in the tendon. According to dictionary.com, a tendon is: "A band of tough, inelastic fibrous tissue that connects a muscle with its bony attachment."
I had tendinitis in my knees, and it caused a setback in my performance in my last two years of high school ball.
Wed Sep 21, 2005 1:41 pm
LOL, Cy said it all.
The tendons are tissue that connect muscles to bones, and in your case, they are inflamed due to stress or other various causes.
EDIT: Doobie, when was this visit to the doctor? Did you mention your finger to him?

about 10months now

i dont know wat it is, so im gonna say no

depending wat exersize. if im shooting in my driveway, then sometimes it has a throbbing ache, but mostly its just really sore to the touch like a bruise.
btw, i have medium size lumps on my shins (side effect)

Well.... Nietzsche is always an option... hehe.
Thu Sep 22, 2005 3:36 am
I think you should stop doing exercise at all and rest it out.
The lumps may indicate a localized fracture, so it's better to slow down.
A month without hard exercise would definitely work for you (without foot impact), so you could work out in a more relaxed manner.
If it hurts by any reason, any over-the-counter NSAID (read: Aspirin, Advil [IF you're not allergic, of course]) will do.
