I think thats pretty cool tho.. even if they dont focus on other aspects of the game. They're excelling at a sole part of the game. I think he's lebanese or something.. havent looked into it.

Thanks for the link Legend, those were some awesome dunks. I wonder if he's actually any good when it comes to playing a regular game though. Seems there's a lot of people with the athleticism to be great showmen in terms of basketball, but don't have the right attitude/mindset/"head for the game" for organised competition, especially at the pro level.

No problem, glad you enjoyed it. It's something I was thinking about too.. someone with such athletic capability..

Here's some info I found on him.. there's more info and videos on him HERE

Kadour Ziani has always been crazy about sports. At the end of the eighties, he was hit by two viruses: basket-ball and dunking. At the time, the first NBA videotapes arrived in France. The VCR were used to rewind the dunks or put them in slow motion, over and over. "We couldn't believe what we saw," he recalls. And the teachers were great ones: Wilkins, Jordan, Spud Webb, "my biggest inspiration. He showed me you could be short and still do great things." With his friends in the city of St-Dizier, he spends his days and sometimes his nights trying to imitate his new idols. At 16 and a half, he makes his first dunk. "It was an alley-oop pass from my friend Djamel Arabi. A simple dunk but it was a great feeling." Ziani then meets Jeremie Medjana, participates in the famous 1996 Orchies contest before being on the first Slam Nation show in march 1997 in the north of France. Between 1999 and 2002, he's slowed down by injuries and by the fact he's playing professional football as a goalkeeper. He also trains in track and field and makes a bounce at 218cm (7'3'')! Since 2002, Ziani has participated fully in Slam Nation. At 31, he's the second oldest member behind Bamba's 34. Jumps off: one foot
