:D I can see my future; I'm now making a sig with me in it.
I fixed up the Kobe sig and just added a bevel to the avatar:

It looks much, much better. I'm not a big fan of the bevels (raised borders) but each to his own, I guess :) Keep it up (y)

dont stretch the KB pic and it'll be a very nice sig ;)

:D Got it c0nr4d, thanks a lot for the tip, I'll fix that

EDIT: I lost the PSD :( so I'm not able to fix that :?

Fri Sep 09, 2005 6:49 am

Fri Sep 09, 2005 6:55 am

Thanks :D
Yeah, but I'm now making another sig for me, I don't like how it came up, I shouldn't change the blending options of the pic

Fri Sep 09, 2005 7:30 am

chris paul one looks good

Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:24 am

What do you think of my new sig and avatar?? (I mean the the ones I'm using)8-)

Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:33 am

its wierd, the background color brushing is really wierd

but what ive always wanted to do is learn how to make the pictures glow like that!

i found one on good-tutorials but its dead  :x :(

Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:37 am

I love the avatar and background. The type choices could be better, but the color choices are great. Jordan might be glowing too much, but that's a really good picture selection.

Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:38 am

Layer Style>Outer Glow...
I still don't know why you like my Chris Paul sig and you don't like the brushing in my MJ sig: Those are the same brushes

EDIT: Thanks Cy, I didn't see your comment until I posted

Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:40 am

maybe its the bakcground color of the brushes

Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:43 am

Maybe you mean the Color of the background (not the color of the brushes, I don't know you but the only color I use for brushing is white).
Well, at least is better than your sigs, sorry I couldn't resist

i know its hard to resist, but check out my new denver ones
and i cant do the glowing effects, you probably have cs2 am i right?

Fri Sep 09, 2005 10:19 am

Sorry for being so hard on you, and yeah, I like your new denver set, just don't stretch so much the logo in the avatar; I'm using both CS2 and Elements 3.0, and I know that in Elements 3.0 there's kinda shortcut on the right for the "Layer Styles" (Below "How To" there's a shortcut that says: "Styles and Effects", just select "Layer Styles" and choose "Outer Glows".
That's it

Fri Sep 09, 2005 10:49 am

Layer Styles exist in pretty much all ther versions of PS. Just double click the layer thumbnail in the Layers toolbar. You'll get a better effect if you also use a VERY small inner glow in addition.

dont forget to brush in black too and use different layers for brushing maybe u should creat a different brush background instead of using the same ones and maybe vary the brushes you use

Sat Sep 10, 2005 3:56 am

I don't think that brushing in black is really neccessary but I'll try 8-)

Sat Sep 10, 2005 4:56 am

yeh i dunno if it makes it look any better i just saw it on the tutorial :D
