Trade Rumor
Today there was a big header on www.realgm.com saying the Celtics and the Knicks have come to a trade. The Celtics would get 31 year old PF Malik rose and 33 Year Old Jerome "Dirtdog" Williams. the Knicks would add 28 Year old Center Raef Lafrenz and 21 Year Old Delonte west. we went to Madison Square garden to get a reaction out of coach YoG! and he said: WHAT? a trade? hmm.. I would like this trade if it went trough because we would get some younger guys for the positions we needed but unfortunatly I can't really confirm this trade.

Let's take a look at the overall stats of the trade:

Name:Rating:Salary:Years remaining:Age:
LaFrenz 65/$9.09/5/28
West 56/$938K/4/21

Rose 61/$5.46/3/31
Williams 60/$5.60/3/33

What do you guys think of this trade?

That would be a good trade for both teams...except you are sending old guys for young guys

the only thing that really sux about this trade is that Mr. Lafrenz has a 5 Year contract worth $45mil.

My lineup right now is like this:

C: LaFrenz 65/Freye 63/James 53
PF:Taylor 59/Lee 51
SF:Richardson 71/Thomas 64/Hardaway 60/Ariza 54
SG:Crawford 74/Houston 65/Allen 60
PG:Marbury 85/Robinson 65/West 54

I'm still looking for a good PF to start instead of Taylor, but for now I will start Frye and Lafrenz. for the rest I think the roster is ok.

You beat Miami by 10! Nice trade, Delonte West is a good player as well. 'Toine barely misses out the Triple-double and Shaq with 18 Rebs. Yet you found a way to beat them. Keep it up.

New York-Philedelphia(Played Game)

Before the game:

Coach YoG Said: "This is a game agianst a really good and improving team. they got all star Allen Iverson and Chris webber and some good complementary players in Korver,Dalembert and Iguodala. We gotta watch our backs on this one if we want to win it.

Key Matchup:
Stephon Marbury Vs. Allen Iverson
ImageVs.Image

This is maybe the best matchup we will ever see because we got 2 of the best PG's in the game defending each other.

New York Vs. Philidelphia

Philidelphia 27 31 23 24 105
New York 26 24 28 25 103

1st Quarter
Not really anytyhing to tell here because nothing really happend I scored and then they Scored. if we missed they missed. score was 27-26 after the 1st

2nd Quarter
Iverson ebgun to play some good D on Starbury and he was getting troubles with getting the ball up court to the bigmen. sometimes he got stealed by iverson but mostley he managed to get the ball to one of the other guys who then got blocked by Dalembert. Phily's lead was 7 points after 2 because of the Blocked shots that Dalembert made.

3th Quarter
We stroke back a little bit with some good offense. It looked like we were about to take a lead but everytime we were close to taking a lead or had a 1 point lead Korver stroke some nice 3's and we were behind agian. The man waas unstoppable Q-rich did his best to contest every 3 Korver got up but he mostley just scored. still we managed to get back a little.

4th Quarter
Korver went on with what he started but it looked like we were about to win. we had 16 seconds left and I passed the ball to Maurice Taylor who was so free he shot the ball. all of a sudden Dalembert appeard and blocked him but it was a foul Mo' hit both of his freetrows and with 9.3 seconds to go we were leading by one. they gave the ball to iverson who it looked like he was going to make the drive but he passed out to korver who was defended by Q-rich he shot the 3 and scored it. and with one seconds left I knew I could try and make a 2 ball with houston but he missed and so we lost our second game in a row to get to a 4-3 streak. I allready took Ariza off the Injury list instead of Hardaway But I can't give him like 20 mins a game that's to much he played for about 5 minutes last game and in our next game agiants the Clipps he will play some minutes agian (Y)

Tough loss against the Heat and the Sixers. Marbury played well but I still think that he can shoot better and pass the ball more to his teammates. Korver had a nice game, 5-7 from downtown. He is on fire! I hope you can win the next game.
