I'm 16 and a lot of my friends have tried it...hell some still do it. I never tried it and have always had just as good of a time at parties. You don't need weed to have fun... And yes, weed is bad!

Cigarettes are horrific. I can't stand them, weed on the other hand is very enjoyable and unlike cigarettes has cool effects. Look at it this way, would you rather die of lung cancer and do it by sucking on some ultra expensive, horrible tasting sticks that don't do anything to you at all, or would you rather die of lung cancer by hitting the bong and spending all your time floating around the room.

Choosing between one of the lesser evils, I'd admittingly would go with the bong, simply because of my extreme dislike for cigarettes.

Seriously, all you "weed is bad" people are exagerating a bit. It's only addiction is psychological and if you don't have the state of mind to refuse when you know your going to get addicted then you should jump infront of a bus.

Weed gives you a great high, it makes shit on a stick exciting. Sure you feel slower for a while after but that's what calculators and cheat sheets are for.

Not to mention that it's great stress relief....and all the cool people smoke weed....your fav NBA player is probably rolling up a FAT blunt right now and passing it to his friend. (Rasheed passes to Webber)

Whether or not you choose to believe any or all of the negative effects marijuana has on the body, those who do smoke pot are 100% more likely to suffer ill-effects as a result of smoking pot than those who don't. Mind you, that kind of goes without saying.

The way I see it if you choose to take that risk, so be it. Personally, I don't want to use marijuana but I won't take some "holier than thou" stance against anyone who does (though complete dependence on anything especially substances tends to be a bad thing), and I'd hope my decision would be likewise respected.

My only real complaint about other people using drugs is aimed at those people whom end up affecting other people's lives; like those who drink or take drugs then get behind the wheel. It may be your right to risk doing damage to your own body, but placing other people's lives at risk is not.

And it's not a performance enhancing drug. I wouldn't consider anything that impairs your motor skills, vision or concentration peformance enhancing.
