pretty scary lol, not 100% sure if it's real but why would you fake such a thing :?

Lmfao, that was awesome.

That'll teach you mindless fucks to actually look both ways before crossing, notice the person didn't bother to check oncoming traffic.

Although the driver was speeding in what seems a residential area.

Oh well, as they say, eigen schuld, dikke bult...well, dead in this case. :|

(Eigen schuld, dikke bult = own fault, big bump, injury...but in this case his own fault = death.)

Wow, what a hit. I'd probably say it's the kid's fault, but if that car was speeding, then who's fault would it be in the end? Let's say the kid died because the car was speeding, and if the car was going at the speed limit, the kid would've survived, so who would win in a court case? I don't mean to overanalyze :|

Still his fault for not checking both ways, the way the case is presented would probably determine who wins and who loses.

But if he's dead, tis his own fault.

Agreed (y) Too bad he never listened to his mommy always screaming at him to watch both sides before crossing the street.

When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade I think, I was walking back towards my family's car in a parking lot, and I for some reason didn't look both ways, and I was about a foot or 2 from getting run over by a minivan. I was too young to realize though.

You're totally right man.
Fucking street safety should be basic, he is (was) old enough to know that. :?

The driver would most likely be sued. It's something you learn when you get your license. People have the right of way NO MATTER WHAT. My brother hit a person and broke his arm and we taken to court but the family dropped the charge. The kid ran into the road to get a ball when my brother was driving 30mph. Not a smart move.

But yeah, you always have to look out for people. Especially downtown.

I just took a trip to New York yesterday. I knew it was tough driving there, but damn. People come very close to getting run over on routine. I found it hilarious when some drivers would just come speeding down the road with their horn held down, people would just scatter. Stupid move by the driver, but it was funny to me.

its an everyday occurance at a philippine street. (N) poeple act like squashes ram to the ground because of not checking both side of the roads. reminds me of my kindergarden song

stop look and listen [repeat 20x]

Holy Shit! That was huge, the guy wouldve gone 50 meters down the street.
One thing I dont get....why couldnt you hear the car coming :?:

Dumb kid shoulda looked both ways though. It looked like a one lane street and the dumb shit only looked right, lol.

I find it kinda upsetting.. I dunno why I just imagine that happening to someone I care about and it's kinda tough to stomach. Looks pretty real to me..

when a kid runs out onto the road and the driver is speeding then it could be dual liability. If the driver isnt speeding then he could be exempt from liability.

True true, I've seen the exact same thing happen to a girl from my class. We had to go to the theater to watch some boring play and when everybody was waiting to cross the road, she walked and got hit by a car. She survived it though.

Fri Aug 19, 2005 8:29 pm

Oh shit... Those friends got a real time reminder...
Hope he survived...damn
