No and no. I'll give some clues. The passers are both are guards (or at least have guard eligibility). The dunker is a PF/C. Furthermore, CB4 and Alston were both on the bench at this point. So you are left with:

Passers
Milt Palacio
Jalen Rose
Lamond Murray
Eric Williams
Morris Peterson

Dunkers
Aaron Williams
Loren Woods
Pape Sow
Matt Bonner
Donyell Marshall

it is two different passers and two different dunkers.

I do believe Rose had one of the alleys but Marshall certainly did not oop it. It's really was quite a shocker. And I think the screenshots of the dunks came out pretty well, so come tonight, you'll see them!

And .LA. is surprisingly close in spite of the rolling eyes....

Sorry for the double post. And also, can someone find me a way to get rid of the poll? We're the Raptors already.

Raptors Done in by Wizardry
Hughes leads team to victory with 29 points

[Toronto Box Score] [Washington Box Score]

Washington, DC – The Toronto Raptors fell to 0-2 after falling 83-70 to the Washington Wizards last night. The Raptors closed the gap to just four points in the third, but could do no better as Washington went on another scoring tirade. Larry Hughes was player of the game for the Wizards, netting 29 points on 13-20 shooting and adding two rebounds, three assists and an impressive six steals.

The first half saw Wizard domination as they jumped out to an early lead and continued to build on it. Jalen Rose, who last game limited superstar Kobe Bryant to just 15 points, allowed Larry Hughes to score 19 in the half. The Raptors front court also looked to be in disarray: Chris Bosh spent almost equal time at power forward and centre, the alternate big men were constantly rotating and Donyell Marshall ended up on the bench for quite some time. Despite Chris Bosh’s terrible first quarter that resulted him being pulled with about four minutes left in the quarter, he ended the half with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal and garnered player of the half honours alongside Larry Hughes. Rafer Alston also had a big half, ending with eight points, five assists and three steals. The big men for the Wizards proved to be powerful weapons on both ends of the court, as they combined for 15 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and two steals, not to mention forcing a couple twenty-four second violations with their defense on Bosh and causing trouble for Toronto’s inside guys to get a good looking shot. The Wizards ended the half up 46-35.

The third quarter saw the Raptors passing more and finding the open looks. Chris Bosh set up another two three pointers, one by Rafer Alston, which brought the score to 46-42 halfway through the quarter. Things then began to fall apart and the Raptors found themselves struggling to make up for Bosh’s inadequate offensive play. At the end of the third, the Raps were down 64-50 and realized that this game was slipping away.

The fourth quarter was Toronto trying to play catch-up to no avail. Finally conceding defeat with under a minute to play and a 15 point deficit, the Raps’ reserves put on a show: back-to-back alley-oops. First, Jalen Rose lined up from just inside the three point line and arced it perfectly for Pape Sow who proceeded to run along the sidelines, catch it in the air and dunked it for the two points. After recovering the ball, back-up point man Milt Palacio lobbed it through traffic over Matt Bonner’s head and right into his awaiting hands as he powered it down. In the end, the home team walked away victoriously 83-70.

Behind Larry Hughes’ breakout performance, Gilbert Arenas quietly scored 15 points to go with his three assists, three rebounds and two steals. Brendan Haywood was a terror on defense with three steals and three blocks, but also was big on the boards with seven rebounds, four on the offensive end. Along with Antawn Jamison, Kwame Brown and Etan Thomas, the Wizards large trio amassed eight offensive board and 25 points. For the Raptors, Chris Bosh ended with another double-double effort, 17 points on 8-18 shooting and 10 rebounds, along with six assists, a steal and three blocks. Three other Raptors scored in double figures. After going just 10-36 from the three point range, Toronto cooled it down and finished 6-17 from beyond the arc.

Highlights:
Alston hits the three to bring the Raptors within four
Hughes throws down two of his 29 points
Haywood with the rejection on Bosh
Bosh stuffs Dixon's fast break lay-up
Sow finishes the alley-oop from Rose
Bonner catches Palacio's alley-oop pass and throws it down in traffic

Coaches and managers avaiable for comment after game two.

.LA. guessed it and when I saw it, I had to remove myself from the forum. But c'mon, how sick is that. Sow and Bonner alley-ooping! Bonner was the big surprise because I didn't think from where he was he could pull it off and would just catch it in the air and lay it in. Sow just ran in and dunked it. It was great to watch. I even let the cut screen run before pausing it to get a better screenshot.

And .LA. gets 5 points, which can be redeemed for writing a player interview with someone. All right...(said in a Quagmire voice)

Haha, no. I don't have any real prizes to give out so that was the first thing that came to my head because I'm going to do an interview tomorrow. Good guess on the random alley-oop though.

TORONTO RAPTORS PRESSRELEASE

Primary Assistant Manager Matin Haso agreed to a press-conference following the Washington game and the trade talks with Cleveland.

Reporter: Hello Matin, Thank you for agreeing to this press conference, I know it's been a busy week for you and mr.Sleiman with the Cleveland talks and all.

Matin: Yeah it's been a testing week for us, unfortunately the trade was delayed due to some compilcations.

Reporter: Does that mean there won't be a trade with the Cavs?

Matin: Due to team policy I'm not allowed to discuss the terms of a deal, but we've not stopped the talks with the Cavs no... Me and Khalid will go back there in a couple of days to discuss further.

Reporter: How does these losses the team is experiencing reflect on you GM's in hunt for improvements?

Matin: Of course it only inhances our eager to strive for fast improvements, but we've already established a signing of Marcus Haislip which should be finalized in a matter of hours.

Reporter: Finally Matin, do you think your Raptors will make the playoffs this season?

Matin: If the ball bounces the right way, you never know what can happen. With the right improvements, who knows? We might surprise a few critics.

Reporter: Thank you for your time mr.Haso, and good luck.

Matin: Thank you.

Interview with Matt Bonnerand Jalen Rose

The Interviewer Matt Bonner Jalen Rose

I caught up with the tandem that brought you that highlight reel alley-oop, Matt Bonner and Jalen Rose after tonight's game. Here's what went down:

Matt, Jalen. Still no luck with the win. What do you attribute that to?

Well, man, their bigs were hounding Chris down low. Check out his assist tally, it just shows that he couldn't find his shot. We also got to control the ball a little better. Larry had, what like five steals?

Actually, six. Now you did an excellent job on Kobe last game, Jalen. What happened this time around?

He pulled up a lot. Kobe would hang around the three point line hogging the ball, so I just tried to keep him back there. Larry kept on running in and I was expecting him to drive, but instead he'd pull up and hit the J.

Can I get your thoughts on the Donyell Marshall trade?

He's been a great mentor to me and it'd be a shame to see him go. But I think he'd be happier in a place where he can be a go-to-guy on the perimeter and we're already stacked outside.

Yo, Donny and I go back to Chi-town before we came over here. It'd be sh*t to lose him if we don't get someone great to replace him. Much love, bro. You just do your thang.

All right, settle down spaz. I think everyone was on their feet when Milt and Pape connected for the alley-oop, then you kept them standing with yours. Which one was better?

Man, there is nothing like watching an alley-oop. Pape threw that one down with a vengeance. But my man Matty here had a tough job to put in down in traffic. Props to him, props man.

Thanks Jalen. It was only because of your great pass.

Naw, but you did the tough work.

You're just being modest.

OK you two, get a room. And a shower. You both need it. Anyways, from Washington, I'm the interviewer saying, "I'd like to report after a win next game!" G'night.
