walking is by far the easiest and i have seen it on tv at competion level i think

 haha, try it and you'll be needing a prosthetic lower leg after the first mile or so. trust me, I was an amateur walker 5 or 6 years ago, and my knees are still in need of teh occasional soothing ice.

Wed Jul 27, 2005 9:50 am

sorry, competitive walking is an oxymoron to me...

lmao at boyk/jae/matthew flame war. what kind of dumb broad does that after losing a thumb war game. was this after boyk hit her in the head with a bat

air hockey is pretty easy and straight forward.

same with card games.

*DreamWeaver* wrote:Threre is an exponentially increasing degree of difficulty as you go up in pro sports levels of competition. My point was that it is MUCH harder to have the GENETIC-related reflexes to play baseball at the highest level, rather than in soccer. Just think of every soccer player trying to be a goalkeeper. Some would be good, soem not, mostly due to the lack of natural reflexes. :!:

That's true, but if we considered other sports, say basketball, hockey, and football, most of them are muscle-chiseled physical athletes. They all respond to genetic limitations by pushing themselves physically. As for sluggers who are genetically gifted in reflexes, the same applies to basketball dunkers, for instance. I think that baseball hitters not necessarily have to be genetically gifted to have those reflexes, but they're able to bring out the fast-twitch muslce fibers to be able to respond quicker to reflexes?

AIR hockey?

Yep, it's actually a small table that vibrates where you have this circular blocker on one side, and your opponent has his own circular blocker, and you have to protect your gap on each end where the disc might go in. The table vibrates and the disc actually glides at an insane speed when you hit it with the blocker and bounces all over the table. So you're trying to score on your opponent's gap side while protecting your gap at the same time by hitting the disc.

I don't know what you're talking about with the table vibrating, Cy. But basically yes, it's a game you would find at an arcade mostly. Incredibly fun for sounding as stupid as it does.

This is the only flame in othersports section i think. we cant split it for historical reasons...

And if you add the stupid you used, it's even worse.

 what? hahah, open your eyes and wead what you are whiting

Wed Jul 27, 2005 11:30 pm

 it did but I couldn't be bothered going through and selecting posts individually

Wed Jul 27, 2005 11:48 pm

meh, all I wanted to prove that wrestling isn't easy. but then again it was addressed to C-Mac so it was pointless anyway

Thu Jul 28, 2005 3:12 pm

Of course!

What about offroading? I heard that was a "sport." A very stupid sport, imo.

First of all I have to separate games and sports. I think a sport have to had some athletic/physical work, so chess or horseback riding aren't sports. In second, there are some so called sports that in fat don't are because there have poor athletic performance. One is baseball. Imagine this, any fat ass good enough to hit a ball and do a home run can run the bases at turtle step a give the game to his team. Do You imagine any fat ass playing basket, or football or handball as a pro? Nope they have to be athletes to play because they are SPORTS, not games. So to the guy who said football is the easiest sport to play as a pro and baseball the hardest, I Say: MAN, LEAVE THE WEED COZ IS GETTING YOUR BRAIN DOWN.

I don't think that there's an easy professional sport, 'cos if there would be, then it would not be at professional level...
Maybe someone finds a sport easy, but for other people it isn't.
For me, the easiest sport is Running, 'cos I'm pretty quick but that's only me. Maybe for someone it is difficult

Thu Aug 04, 2005 3:33 am

Um...fishing people...fishing. Look at the site. Um running's quite hard compared to fishing, in which you spend most of the time sleeping or chatting until something gets caught anyhow.

Thu Aug 04, 2005 9:29 am

Yeah but you need strength. Make sure you don't catch a shark!

Thu Aug 04, 2005 9:39 am

:shake:

I agree with the selction of fishing as the easiest sport (Y)

Thu Aug 04, 2005 10:29 am

I think baseball is the easiest. Alot of it just relies on your physical ability. Basketball on the other hand, takes practice. NOBODY can just pick up a ball and be great, they need SOME SORT of practice to do anything. I've seen people go to parks who must have failed math class or something, because they have no idea how to ARCH the ball when they shoot.. it takes skill and practice.

Haven't smoked weed for 9 years... Also, try taking a penalty kick. and then try and pitch an in-the-zone 30mph curveball.

Try and take down a 60 meter pass on your chest, to your foot, at speed. Then try and bunt a softball.
