Hawk's Get Biggest Win Of The Season!
Atlanta- 115 ; Dallas 87
At the sound of this, one thought comes to mind, "Huh?!". The Hawks weren't even supposed to beat the Maverick's, and then they go into Dallas and come away with a 28 point victory? You're kidding right? That is probably what Marc Cuban, and anyone associated with the Mav's were thinking. But we are not kidding, the Hawk's came to play today. The Hawk's ended up with 6 players over double digits, 3 of them being over 20 Points. And don't forget the debut of Jimmy Jackson, who notched up 17 Points OFF THE BENCH! "Well this is just a shock. I mean, how could a better debut go down?" asks Jimmy Jackson, "I just wanted to come and and contribute immediately, and I think I did that tonight. It's a great way to enter the franchise," adds Jimmy. The Hawk's will now focus on their next game, at home against the Trail-Blazers.
Rookie Josh Smith could not be stopped, knocking in 21 Points, along with 8 Rebounds, 2 Assists, and 7 Steals!

The Hawk's Get Blazed At Home!
Portland: 93 ; Atlanta: 81
The Hawk's came crashing down, back to reality, after they were on high hopes, after they destroyed the Maverick's. After beating a quality team like that on the road, Atlanta should have had no trouble beating the 2-8 Portlant Trailblazer's in Atlanta. But they did, and got yet another loss at home. "I don't know what to say," Coach Mike Woodson comments, "Some games we can beat the biggest powerhouse, but then the next, we will lose to a team with one of the worst record's in the league at home. Portland sure didn't play like a 2-8 team tonight," he then adds. Al Harrington had another tough shooting performance, and just couldn't carry his team to victory. J-Smoove, who has been on fire as of late, had a double double, but his points were down from his previous games. The Hawk's will have to regroup and get past their last 3 games this month, against the Grizzlies, Kings, and Nuggets, because they have one tough January ahead of them.
Damon Stoudamire is known as "Mighty Mouse" for a reason, and pulled out a huge game, with 30 Points, 2 Rebounds, and 6 Assists, earning Player Of The Game.
Other Top Blazer Performaners
Shareef Abdur Rahim: 24 Points, 6 Rebounds, 4 Assists
Zach Randolph: 12 Points, 8 Rebounds, 4 Assists

Great trade for Jim Jackson.

Nice win against Dallas. Usher's a genius!

^^ Yeah, thanks. The loss to Portland stung though. I gotta get this team together. January is going to be such a tough month.
Thu Aug 04, 2005 2:50 am
Don't worry about it, the Hawks will be back.
Thu Aug 04, 2005 5:58 am
It's odd - you blow out the good teams, then lose to the poor ones. I love the Dalembert trade. And your sig - pretty sweet. Keep Harrington around though; he is doing well. Notice you always win when he scores 20 or more? And when your team outscores theirs? I think the second one is more keen an observation.
But most other Hawks dynasties ditch Harrington. You should defy them and all his critics (including me) by keeping him as a backbone for your team.

The Hawk's came through and picked up the first of their final three games in the month of December, before they enter the toughest month of their season, January. Our team is going back and forth right now, and we just need to get the best of this win," he adds. The Rookie's put in such a valient effort to pull out the victory. The 5 young studs put in 64 Points combined, 18 Rebounds, and 17 Assists. There was also three double-double's in the victory. The Hawk's will look to duplicate their success in their next game, in Sacramento, against the Kings.

Well you can get a technical foul in game if you press Playcalling key and you don't have any more time-outs left.
By the way, great player you acquired for Delk. Also great recaps and waiting for JJ's Hawks TV interview.
Oh I almost forgot... in the first post you have JJ's stats, but the roster stills have Delk's name.
Thu Aug 04, 2005 2:19 pm
Thanks for the comments, but the roster with the name "Tony Delk" is the roster I started with. The new one with the stats and pictures, is my current roster.

Hey guys,
I'm curious to whether or not I can run two dynasty's. Do you guys know if anyone has tried that? I think I could pull it off. So please post your comments on whether or not I should try to do two dynasty's. If you say yes, tell me what team you think I should do. ( I'm thinking the ultimate test with the Knick's salary cap.) If not, then I will just stick with this one. If I try it and I can't, I will drop that dynasty and stay with thise one, because Im not giving this one up until Live 06'. So get to voting, please.
Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:19 am
You can run two dynasties - or even more if you are daring. Just save them in different spots and under different names.
Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:30 am
Nice win against Memphis. Can't wait for JJ on Hawks TV. If you think if you can handle two Dynasties, go for it. I have two, but don't play in the other one much.
Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:32 am
Alright guys thanks for your opinions, I think im going to give it a shot. Expect an update for both dynasty's every day, and if for some reason I cant juggle both, I will drop the new one, because I love this one. What team you guys think I should do? I think the Knicks.
Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:34 am
The Knicks sound great.
Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:35 am
Good choice - a different sort of rebuilding process. Perhaps try to do it with the new rookies in it. I think a whole bunch of us would like to see Lil' Nate carve it up.
Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:38 am
I'd love that, especially cause' Charlie Frye and Nate Nate are tight. But I got Live on Xbox, and if I want them in it, it will bother me and I will have to create every single rookie.
Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:42 am
I do it for my game, it's not too tough. Just takes a little time and effort.
