Yeah, thanks for that.

At first it's like 'ooh that's a sweet move' but in the end it's the same shit over and over. I mean what the hell is the point of passing by your opponent just so you can come back and humiliate him some more?

The worst is probably their defense. Save for a block it is simply non-existant ,because it could make it look like you're actually trying to play ball the way it's meant to be played.

I like to watch Streetball moves, only because is fun when you try to do all that later with a ball, and your friends get impressed. And if you learn to do all that hard moves, then is easily to do the normal crossovers, spins and all that legal basketball dribbling moves. I use it as practice for my handles.

whats wrong with streetball??...don`t like it, don`t watch it.....its just baksetball only the main thing is the show, not the score...ofcourse its a stupid game, but so are many sport ways

Street ball is for some people and not for others....I myself enjoy watching street ball just to check out some of the moves they pull off and i think to myself "how do they do that" Its a very interesting thing to watch if your bored....i give streetball two thumbs up (Y) (Y)

Then all the black people run into the court and start dancing and screaming after some guy made a great move.

I don't know why that made me laugh. It just did.

Isn't that funny ? If Streetball is that ( in your opinion ), I think is funnier than we thought before :P

Streetball preaches stupidty to cocky black people. That's all I have to say about it.

You honestly think someone like "Hot Sauce" is a good basketball player? Hell no. Nobody in the NBA would let someone dribble the ball inbetween their legs and not just grab the ball from them. And Hot Sauce might have a nice looking crossover against the pathetic defense they play in And1 games, but if you forced him to his opposite hand and kept him that way, he wouldn't be able to use it. A couple of people I know who play for my local high school played against AO in a summer basketball event, and they said he stunk up the place. Don't just tell me he had an off night or something, because that's BS. The only And1 player that could have a shot to be decent in the NBA is someone like Main Event, because of his size.

Tue Aug 02, 2005 10:28 am

Rafer Alston and Main Event are the best players fit for the NBA.

Rafer is INDEED fit for the NBA, knocking down many 3's like he's been doing. Woo. (Y)

Players that play streetball aren't able to play in a real basketball team, except for someone...
They would score like 2 or 4 points if they'd play here in Europe, cos' they play all time traveling, and cos' they're always insulting the opponent, u cannot do that in Professional Basketball...
I'm with Jona, I hate streetball, that guys saying that they're the best after doin' some s****y moves, doesn't know how is to play REAL basketball, and for sure, they don't know what is Teamwork

Tue Aug 02, 2005 5:44 pm

I prefer to watch Streetball style plays in the All-Star Game, but not regular NBA games. And the streetball styles are played within the rules.

Wtf are you talkin about..?

Thats just rude.

Streetball is not just simple basketball.. imagine watching Tim Duncan playing streetball.. I'd fall asleep. But then again if you had someone like Wade playing thats something to watch. It's not mean to be fundamental.. it's flashy in-your-face type of basketball.. where you get respect through what you can show off.

Unfortunately trashtalking seems to be a part of Pro Basketball today or at least in the NBA.

Thu Aug 04, 2005 2:43 am

Yes, that's one reason I'm happy I'm in Italy, if u do that here, then u go out of the game, even in Professional Basketball...The only thing I don't like in european basketball, is that there aren't dunks, alley-oops and showtime like in the NBA. Only american guys like James Singleton or Joseph Blair are able to dunk.

I can't stand And 1 streetball, but going to Rucker Park and just watching is awesome. Every time I visit NYC I go there, I met a lot of great players there. I have a friend who plays down there a lot, he has a 54 inch vertical. his nickname is Jumping Jack. THink about that. 54 INCHES. He's fucking crazy. Anyway, the thing about watching Rucker is you're seeing things that most people don't see, watching basketball's best non-famous players. With And 1, they are famous so everyone knows what happens during those games.

I'm sorry, I was scarred for life when cocky black people constantly tried to put the ball between my legs.

Yeah, but Tim Duncan can play fundamental basketball, and this is why he's able to kick any streetballer's ass. And no, you can't get respect by what you can show off if you'll end up making yourself look stupid.

"Oh, Kobe's dribbling the ball around himself and bouncing it with his knees!" What a clown. He should be playing for the Harlem Globetrotters, not NBA basketball. The objective of the game is to score points and play tight D, not dribble with your goddamn knees.

how old is he

Thu Aug 04, 2005 2:14 pm

LMFAO 23

I went down to Rucker with my cousin REALLY early in the morning, and we were just shooting around, and he started playing. Me and my cousin just stopped playing and watched him dunk for a few minutes before he noticed us, then he just laughed and introduced himself. We talked for a while, he showed me his dunks (windmill freethrowline in person  ), and gave me his cell number so now we talk a lot.
