The Career/Job Thread

I was wondering what kind of a job does everybody have, or what are they planning to study (IF you want to study, that's it ).

I am a high school senior and my goals are to become a doctor, more specifically a psychiatrist.

What do you all do?

I am studying Computer Programming rite now......I am a sophmore at Vatterott College in Des Moines Iowa.

Right now I'm serving breakfast at Burger King.

right now i am employed as a database administrator/I.T. management and networking specialist.
a job that bores me a lot except when fridays.
thats the time when we held our brainstorming meetings and my poeple will show me all their weeks work. which i would rather scrap or approved

Im a junior in high school and after college I wanna be a veterinarian

Im in High-school and i want to be a Sports Writer in a big city like LA, New York or Chicago or a division I College Basketball coach.

If I'm paying $5000 a year for school, then I'm entitled to say this yet again

I'm studying at the University of Alberta, working on a Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree in Visual Communications (a fancy word for graphic design)

When I go to college, I plan on majoring in business or management since I want to own my own business or with management I can do something with real estate or something such as sports management. Either one pays good money.

Since we are talking about what we are going to do. When I graduate from High School I'll be attending North Hennepin Community College major in some bullshit field and then become a Police Officer.

Mafia doesn't think I can handle being a Cop in Compton...I'll prove him wrong.

At the moment I'm just filling racks full of wines, biscuits & other cereals at a Supermarket.

This year I'm about to begin my bachelors in Law.

Senior Year taking up Management Information Systems. Might end up getting an IT job but I want to get into graphic design more

I've been tutoring Korean kids who can't speak English for a while now...
I hope to attend Rice University or Carnegie Mellon with some kind of scholarship... (could I be more stereotypical? Oh wait, yes I can. I like karaoke)

Um, I'm a student. . I can begin work in 8 months (when i'm 14 and 9 months, I think that's when I can begin work.). I want to work at the local super market as a "trolley pusher", the guy who collects all the trolleys and puts them back inside .

But when I get to VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education, that's our state's education .. thing.) or the International Bacculearate (sp?) I want to study Economics and Accounting and like the hard maths stuff because I'm good at maths (keeping it modest). I wouldn't mind being a politician but then I'll have to be a body building mammoth/actor. (Arnold Swarzchenneger).

Yea sure, I guess you are planning on dying at an early age if your going to do that You can be a cop, but being a cop in Compton means you someone can pretty much predict your life expectancy

There is nothing wrong with being a cop in Compton. I could survive out there, call me in 5 years and I'll be a cop in C-Town.

Just started working for a local ISP in tech support. Previously had been working in retail.

i`m going to business school...so i`m gonna be a business man ( i hope )

Currently having my Senior Year at High School. I applied for Graphics-Oriented courses in College.
