1st quarter:

We get tip and I pass to wide open Kobe who sinks a three. Then on the other end K-Mart is charged with a Offensive foul. Start game of with zone defense. K-Mart gets subed early becuse of two fouls. But Persons's 3 point shooting kept the game close. Camby was killing us on the boards and our big men got some early fouls.
Denver closed out the first with a run.

2nd quarter:
With my rotation out we were gettings beaten on defense and offense. But a easy Brian Grant dunk pump us up and we pulled our game together.But K-Mart came in with 9:36 too play so my starters went in. Jamal got 3 fouls so I put Slava at C.
The only bright thing about this is that most of their big men had a least 3 fouls. I called time with 5:08 left too pull the team together. It didnt seem to work as Slava picked up his 3rd foul with 4:21 left.

I cut the lead down too 8.

3rd quarter:
We started of with a Luke Walton 3 and Sasha 3 and that cut the lead too 2.
After we traded points a Jumaine Jones cut the lead too 1! Martin followed with a slam but Sasha made a 3 to tie the game at 80!


We countined to trade baskets until 6:42 when Brand drew Martins 3rd foul on a AND1 play. Free throw sunk and it 82 to 85 Lakers.

As baskets were made the Lakers rose 95 to 87. Kobe came of the bench with 3:39 left after another AND1 play my Brand. Kobe drove and dished it to Brand who Tomahawked it through!

With 4.2 left Martin picked up his 4th foul as Brand sinked 1 of his free throws.

Lakers:105
Nuggets:93

4th quarter:

We attacked and shot some free throws. And we went on a 10-0 run. We spaced the floor and got some threes.We won 148-122.

Player of the game Kobe Bryant with 44 points!




The Nuggets had no answer fo Kobe.

I did'nt really like the Magloire trade, but the Elton Brand trade was good

I like both of your trades especially the Brand trade. I know Lamar Odom was pissed off when he found out he was headed back to the Clippers.

This is what Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak had too say about their trade with the Raptors.

"Im glad we can get a player as good as Alston. He has mad handles and can dish a No Look pass. Im glad he can Join us on our quest for a Championship."

When asked how he would fit in their offense Mitch told them,

"We dont know yet. We have a game with the Spurs tomorrow and I dont think that enoughs time for him to get into our system"

No, dont trade him...He did a really good job in his first game almost getting a double double! He is the missing piece for your team and he will contribute more than that. I say keep him!...but its up to you
