C Ilgauskas
PF Gooden
SF Marshall
SG Hughes
PG James

Tall, Big, Talented.

LeBron plays best as a G/F and last year it was made clear the Cavaliers want LeBron to play on the wing.

I guess you could keep that same line-up but switch James and Hughes, but then I don't like Hughes at PG either. If they manage to sign Sarunas Jasikevicius and he turns out to be the stud everyone says he is I picture a line-up like this:

C - Zydrunas Ilgauskas
PF - Drew Gooden
SF - LeBron James
SG - Larry Hughes
PG - Sarunas Jasikevicius

Bench:
PG - Jeff Mcinnis
C - Martyna Andriuskevicius
G/F - Luke Jackson
G/F - Ira Newble
SF - Aleksandar Pavlovic
PG - Eric Snow
F/C - Anderson Varejao
PF - Donyell Marshall

Their starting line-up looks solid but their bench looks weak, but it's also young and you don't know what to expect from some of those players.

^^ Made no sense ^^

Anyways.. the Cavs are super lucky they picked up Marshall.. how many PF's do you see these days that are deadly from the arc>?
Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

Z/Varejao (I read it somewhere that they tend to play him at C, but I don't know the new coach will still do that)
Gooden/Marshall/Varejao
LBJ/Marshall/Luke Jackson
Larry Hughes/Newble/Pavlovic
Sarunas/Snow

Why would Gooden start over Marshall?

Marshall is much more versatile than Gooden and does provide scoring off the bench. He can be Cavs's 6th man. Gooden would lose too much of his productivity if coming off the bench.

Yea but from the sounds of it, Gooden is not in Cleveland's plans, so I don't know if they really want him as the starter.

Im so happy we got someone else with the last 7-8mil.
And Donny Marsh mite not be the best we could have got, but hes a good 3 point shooter and will be a great help!
Now i hope we trade Drew Gooden for some PG or defensive PF.

Look out for the Cavs!

Damn, I was hoping the Bulls might still be able to find a way to get him. Nice acquisition by the Cavs.

Nice catch!...The Cavs lineup are looking pretty good. They still need a better PG than McInnis and a good shooter though

Hey, it's possible.

then canada will have teh showerfunz

j/k...

anyway...hopefully cavs can do some damage this year. Marshall wont make a big difference but with all the minute upgrades...the cavs are shaping up. Now all they need is larry brown or some other good coach.
