I disrespect their decisions because I respect them too much. It's like leaving Larry Bird and Magic Johnson out of the hall of fame ballots. It's probably not the best analogy, but I'm tired

I know what you mean, I respect them too. They're 2 of my favourite posters. But if Magic and Larry wanted to not-be in the HoF, wuld you still get them in even if they didn't want to??

Patchmakers don't need any more of an ego boost. Can't stand them. The categories are fine, if you want more just steal them from the original awards thing.

Not happy about being nominated, guess it's beyond my control technically... I could just edit all of the categories once you post the nominees lol

they do contribute to the forum, and make the game FAR,FAR better than the EA released version. Heck, after all the patches I've installed, I'm playing a totally different and better game now. I say go for the new category. (Y)

As far as the Jae/Jackal thing goes, I will still allow them on ballots, but if when they are nominated, they still want out, out they go and in goes the 6th place person. Good with everybody?

The only thing about it is, I don't want a non-present Jackal winning an award, or a Jae who really doesn't want to win, that will dampen the spirit of it.

Everyone has an ego :lol:

Maybe there should be a whole separate award thing for patchmakers, that would be posted in the patching section so none of us would have to put up with all of the bragging and such here.
