Tip-Off time.

Indiana Pacers vs. Detroit Pistons.
The Starters

J. Bender vs. Ben Wallace
J. O'Neal vs. Darko Millicic
R. Artest vs. Corliss Williamson
R. Miller vs. Richard Hamilton
J. Tinsley vs. Chauncey Billups

There was a slow start to the game. It was good to see Millicic getting his first 2 field goals of the season for Detroit and his career.
Jermaine O'neal blows a no pressure dunk but pistons fail to capitalize missing 3 shots in a row.
Ben Wallace knocks over Johnathon Bender and scores the goal to tie game at 9 a piece.
In the next play, Ben Wallace gets 2nd foul of the match which puts him into some early foul trouble and sends Bender to the line for 2 shots he makes.
Eddie Griffin, Lindsey Hunter and Joe Johnson see first minutes for their new team.
Tayshaun Prince drains a long 3 to grab the lead 12-11
Eddie Griffin drains 1/2 Free throws which gets his first point for his new team
Prince drains 2nd 3 to extend lead to 3 points
Hunter drives in and lays it in for a 2 for his first points for his new team.
griffin gets his first field goal for new team which gives pacers a 1 point lead.
Each team keeps exchanging baskets and the lead which ends the quarter with pacers leading 20-19
There wasn't many key players, most teammates contributing with the score, with pacers having 8 out of 9 players who played in that quarter
scoring at least 2 points
Start of 2nd Quarter 2 and Jamaal Tinsley drains a 2nd 3 to give Pacers a lead by 2 but then Chauncey Billups drains a 3 to give Pistons the lead by 1 point then Hamilton drains 3 to give pistons lead by 4.
This match was turning into a 3 point exchange so Skrnjug uses first timeout of the game. He addresses to his players to play tight defense up on there man to prevent the 3 point shot being taken.
Ron Artest prevents pistons to go out on a big lead reducing it to 2 points difference with a layup then dunk.
Ben Wallace made a tip in dunk off a missed shot which showed what he can do combining defence and offence abilities.
Joe Johnson gets his first points for new team to tie scores at 33 a piece.
Somehow Millicic grabs rebound, gets fouled on the hand and tips it in for 2 and 1 and scores the free throw.
Jamaal Tinsley drives and scores lay up to give pacers lead
Millicic somehow scores again, we are starting to like this guy from Serbia-Montenegro
Bender gets fouled, adjusts and makes the shot and makes the and 1 which extends lead to 2 points with 9 secs remaining in the half.
O'neal makes a clutch block on millicic to prevent losing this lead.
The end of half key players for pacers were
Ron Artest 10 Points 2 Assists
Johnathon Bender 7 Points 5 Rebounds 3 Assists
And for pistons
Darko Millicic 9 Points, 3 Rebounds
Ben Wallace 8 Points, 4 Rebounds, 2 Blocks
Detroit dished out 6 assists, 1 each by 6 different players.
Start of 3rd quarter and Miller starts off by making a 4 point play.
O'neal having a rough night with only 4 Points
Bender drains 3 over Wallace and realizes he should do that more often and also gives pacers biggest lead of the match, 7 points.
But Wallace answers back on the receiving end of an alley oop finger roll.
Jamaal Tinsley now in foul trouble with 4 fouls and then Billups drive to the basket and draining the and 1 brings lead down to 1.
Bender was forced to adjust shot by Wallace but still scores the basket.
Chucky Atkins drains a 3 to tie game at 59 a piece, Bender answers back to grab the lead but then Atkins drains a 2nd 3 to give pistons the lead back. Then Eddie Griffins rebounds then dunks to give the lead back to pacers.
Reggie Miller drains 3 to tie game at 68 a piece then Lindsey Hunter drains a huge 3 for a buzzer beater and drains it.
End of 3rd Quarter score is 71 to 68 pacers lead.

Tinsley gets into more foul trouble commiting his 5th personal but pacers decide to leave him on the court.
Billups drains another 3 to give them a 2 point lead then Reggie Miller scores to tie game at 73 each.
Both teams begin swapping 3 pointers so the Pacers call a time out to try and stop the crowd from booing, the Pacers leading 82 to 81.
Tinsley steals the ball in the backcourt but misses the lay up.
Robert Skrnjug calls a timeout just to calm his players down and telling them to use as much of the clock as possible and not to take stupid shots
So Ron Artest drains a 3 with 1:26 remaining to give the Pacers a 4 point lead.
Tinsley fouled out and pacers bring in Hunter then Billups scores 3 to bring down the deficit to 1.
Miller misses a wild shot but williamson offensively fouls at the other end.
Robert Skrnjug surprisingly takes off O'Neal and Miller but they weren't their usual selves and puts on Joe Johnson and Eddie Griffin.
Bender gets fouled on shot and drains both free throws. Johnson lays it in for 5 point lead. Hunter steals the ball and gets delibrately fouled with 13.6 left on the clock, it's over.
The final score was 96 to 88.
Player of the game was Johnathon Bender with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
Jermaine O'Neal only kept down to 4 Points in the game.
Eddie Griffin stepped up off the bench and scored 12 points and 12 rebounds. Ron Artest scored 22 points.
Chauncey Billups scored 24 points for the Pistons
Ben Wallace 12 points and 8 rebounds and 4 blocks
