Wed Jun 08, 2005 8:09 am

Wed Jun 08, 2005 8:36 am
i think he got drafted
Wed Jun 08, 2005 1:44 pm
draft sucks
nnow imma getting confused about these new wrestlers........and bad ass billy gun is gone to TNA
and whta the hell is this ECW crap!!!
Wed Jun 08, 2005 10:30 pm
^^^ ECW used to be another wrestling company until WWE bought it. I think the only "competition" now is TNA.
Thu Jun 09, 2005 10:58 am
guess vince can't seem to buy them all out...more and more competition starts to sprout....does this mean there will be another show for ECW? i heard that rob van damn is already there
Thu Jun 09, 2005 11:00 am
I think it's pretty safe to say that John Cena will be traded back to SD, like what happened to HHH. Still though, interesting pick. I thought a guy like Angle would go Raw.

The resurgence of ECW is a marketing gimmick of WWE head Vince McMahon. The success of the ECW DVD they released made them decide to stage a ECW "special". Vince still owns.

On June 12, WWE will stage “Extreme Championship Wrestling One Night Stand,” available on pay-per-view.
ECW, which developed a loyal following to its hardcore brand of action, went out of business in 2001. But WWE acquired rights to the promotion’s name and video archives. WWE already has released an ECW history DVD set that became a bestseller.
To further satiate fans’ appetites, the pay-per-view is expected to feature the former stars of ECW, and not just the ones that currently perform in WWE.[/url]

kinda sick watchin only the same wrestling stars wrestle everytime...
where is Goldberg, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall?, Sting, etc etc..
I remember watchin WCW was much more interesting than WWE..
at least there were 2 gangs fighting each other everytime..
ie, the good guys vs wolfgang vs bad guys.. etc

goldberg---ufc
stone cold---retired yet promotional referee
undertaker---almost retired, big time matches only
kevin nash----retired
scott hall--wherabouts unknown
sting----probably dead

undertaker---almost retired, big time matches only
I remember ,back in the old days, the Dead Man wrestling against Hogan and Warrior... Memories...
Thu Jun 09, 2005 10:19 pm
What sucks mostly is Cena's WWE Championship is now on Raw...
Maybe SD can get Batista to make it even...
Thu Jun 09, 2005 10:40 pm
Enlighten me please... how can you possibly trade wrestlers???
Is there a draft as well?
Thu Jun 09, 2005 11:57 pm
^^^ The crossover draft and trades of SD and Raw are just promotional gimmicks for ratings.
kevin nash----retired
scott hall--wherabouts unknown
sting----probably dead
Kevin Nash, Sting - I think they're with TNA.
Scott Hall - too fat to wrestle.
Fri Jun 10, 2005 8:08 am

goldberg - doing some motorbike show at the history channel or something. no plans of going back to wrestling unless it's the big time and as of the moment he hates the WWE and vice versa
stone cold - can't wrestle anymore. goes back for the occassional appearance. signed a 3 movie deal with WWE films
'taker - expecting a baby and having hip surgery. will come back soon i guess. should reture
nash - on TNA
hall - was on TNA. don't know if he's still there. usually just drunk or high
sting - retired. writing books and shit
and for the uninformed. ECW was the #3 company to some people before the buyout thing. they say it started the whole hardcore and the high-flying luchadore craze. they also got a lot of technical style wrestlers like benoit before. a lot of the matches were pretty bloody. rvd's greatest matches were here since he's pretty good with the steel chair and he usually incorporated the chair with a lot of his moves especially the finishing ones
haven't seen the last couple of shows since i didn't have my computer with me and I usually just download the shows
oh yeah, DWeave, since the WWE has bought ECW and WCW they've had too much wrestlers and thoguth of dividing them into two shows, Raw and Smackdown!. usually they have an annual draft thing where they can trade and draft wrestlers from the other show. there are no standard rules though. they usually make it up year after year. pretty messed up I guess
Sun Jun 12, 2005 6:02 pm
benoit went to SD...they didnt get batista, which i thought they would
i reckon eddie guerrero and rey mysterio will end up on different shows somehow
Sun Jun 12, 2005 7:01 pm
what is TNA?
Sun Jun 12, 2005 7:24 pm
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Fairly new company. The closest that the WWE has for competition and they're pretty far away. They don't even have a major TV deal yet.

just got back to watching wrestling last year I think. sparked my interest when I landed on some wrestling forums. learned a shitload more than what I knew before and I was also able to download shows every week so I've been watching 'em almost regularly(for a while syndication for wrestling shows stopped here after WWE bought WCW and ECW even before that we'd get the shows like 3 months later).
Wed Jun 15, 2005 11:08 pm
TNA has everyone from the old D-generation X, so that should make TNA a little more fun to watch.
Thu Jun 16, 2005 12:03 am
all they have is road dogg billy gunn and x-pac. no triple h. no shawn michaels. no china. and reviving old stables don't really work. the wwe's revival of the nwo didn't really do well
oh yeah, i just watched ECW One Night Stand. Fucking Sick PPV.
Thu Jun 16, 2005 8:50 am
Btw, just saw the "One Night in China" Porno! rofl...it was the grosest porn I've seen. (Xpac and Chyna).
