it did come with a cd... but in US, consoles only

Thu Jun 09, 2005 8:12 am

i liked the 2003 soundtrack a lot.. they really should try coming out with a mix next year.. some hip hop, some rock, alternative..

Thu Jun 09, 2005 10:23 am

Madden 2005 has a decent mix of music... not all of the songs are good but they make a nice change from the usual NBA Live rap rubbish we put up with.

Madden 2001 (I think)
was the best.
Either that or 2002 I forget.

i cant remember any others.

Tony Hawks Underground had a sick soundtrack, I just played it. It even has The World Is Yours, one of my favorite Nas songs ever

Thu Jun 09, 2005 2:09 pm

need for speed underground 1 had one of the best soundtracks also.....but yeah, tony hawk games have great soundtracks usually.

Live use to have ROCK back in the late 90's check the funky bass kicks for NBA Live 96.

And also Live 97, they have that one song where it had a rock guitar in it and it said "LETS GO!".

EA put rock in their NBA Games until they saw the Urban connectivity to Hoops and just left all rap.

Wed Jun 15, 2005 3:53 am

Errrrhhhh. :? I hate rap very much.

Hell yeah. No more "Imma score a touchdown fool, sack your QB sucka". On the other hand, I have to mute my TV when I'm in the menus of Live 05.

Tony Hawk has sold out to rap? No offense to rap fans, but honestly at the least 99% of real life "skaters" listen to absolutely 0 rap. Oh well, I don't play it. :\

Wed Jun 15, 2005 12:38 pm

Hip-Hop Hooray was a top song, i also liked the Chingy Nba Live 04 anthem, and Its Game Time by Young Buck and Lloyd Banks from 05

Ummm, I don't know what skaters you know? Pretty much all the skaters I know listen to guys like Mobb Deep.

best song ever in any game before GTA SA

i 100% agree with this post. of course GTA blows away any game when it comes to soundtrack but nba live seems to keep it pretty damn good compared to all the other games

Yeah, GTA punches every other game soundtrack in the ovaries.

Especially GTA:SA

I've never met a skateborder who's into rap.

Edit: Actually I did meet one, but he wasn't skateboarding in the whole time I knew him. He just carried the board around.
