First game in April started well for the Nets,they had the lead after first quarter,but that's when everithing went wrong,Grizzlies outplayed the Nets and come up with a win.Memphis PG J.Williams was named player of the game.This was the second defeat for the Nets in a row.

Nets were going to try to bounce back from a 2 game losing streak against the Raptors.First quarter was a disaster,Raptors outscored the Nets 21-13,the first for the Nets come at a 10-0 score.But the Nets turned the game around,outscoring the Raptors 30-16 in the second quarter and cruised to a win.RJ was leading the Nets in the first half with 14 points.Nene was the player of the game(12 points,14 rebs).He is becoming a very important piece of the Nets,with his great athletic skills and the knowledge to use them.

Nets come out and played hard,in the end winning against the Heat.Jerome James was named the player of the game,he scored 14 points and had 11 rebs and 4 blocks.Nets won the game 106-98.

Nets extended their winning streak to 3 games with a win over the Wizards,90-76.Nets started the game great and got a big lead which allowed them to cruise to a win.But in the third quarter Nets were given a big blow,Kidd inyured his arm and was taken out of the game.Nets didn't let that discourage them and ended the game on a high note led by Vince Carter and Nene.

With Kidd out for 8 weeks,Carter shifted into higher gear and led the Nets to an easy win over the Hawks.Carter scored 27 points on a 11-17 shooting and was named the player of the game.Nene once again put in a good performance with 10 points,9 rebs,4 blocks and 3 assists.

Second game without Kidd,Nets tried to extend their winning streak to 5.This was a game between two even teams and the lead kept on changing hands.Nets were in a position to get the win in the fourth,but Knicks did come back and the game went into overtime.That's when the Nets showed their class outscoring the Knicks 31-16 in one overtime and got the win.Carterled the Nets with 28 points and was named player of the game.RJ put in a great performance with 15 points,6 rebs and 8 assists

Nets were on a 5 game winning streak and easily cruised to the sixth win in a row with an away 106-76 win against the Cavaliers.Defence was the key in this one.All 5 starters for the Nets were in double digits led by a double-double from Krstic who was the player of the game with 13 points,11 rebs,6 blocks and 2 assists.

Nets started slow,played like a tired team half,started the third quarter in the same was,were down 54-38 wit 4:32 left in the third and that's when something snapped,Nets started their big comeback.They outscored the Warriors 30-14 in the fourth and come away with a 88-84 win.Heroes of this win were Nene and RJ who scored 20 points together in the fourth.Nene was player of the game.

Nets got their 7 game winning streak ended.Suns outpaced the Nets who looked unorganised wihout Kidd.Suns played great defence and kept knocking down shoots and ended up with a 97-74 win. Nets looked like a lottery team,not the Nba leading team.Amare Stoudemire was named player of the game with 16 points,13 rebs and 6 blocks.

Nets were trying to bounce back from an ugly loss a day ago.They cleared their heads and went to work.But the Celtics aren't an easy team to play against and outscored the Nets 19-13 in the first.Second quarter ended with both teams scoring 14 points.Carter was defended well and scored just 2 points.Nene was keeping Nets alive in the first half.Second half,Nets are a completely defferent team,they out score Boston 30-15 and have the lead heading into fourth.They held the lead till the end and come away with a 81-71 win.Player of the game:Nenad Krstic

Couch Frank rested Carter,Richard Jefferson and Nene,so the starting line-up looked live this:KRSTIC,SCALABRINE,KORVER,PEELER,JARIC.
Nets started strong,having a 23-15 lead after the first.Thats when they fell apart,being outscored 44-28 in the second and third quarter.Couch decided to rest his stars couse they already clinched the best score in the league,so the Nets lost the game 85-74.Korver shot 4-14 from the three point line,a bit too much

Ming Yao made his debut and did a great job,scoring 16 points,grabbing 13 rebs and soo on,but Nene stole the spotlight,scoring 24 points,shooting 79% from the field.Dirk and Vince also scored over 20 points in a game that could have gone either way.Both teams tried hard in the regular part of the game.Celtics almost won the game,they were up by two with 10 secs remaining.Nets called a timeout and decided to let Dirk shoot the three,so he did,the ball missed the hoop,bounced of the rim and everybody thought it was over,but Nene grabbed the ball and dunked it in with the buzzer.After the review from the reffs,game was tied.That dunk come as a big morale booster for the Nets who went on to outscore the Celtics in overtime 20-11.Nets realised that although they have a great team,they still need to work hard to get to the playoffs

Kings crushed Nets morale with a win that should have not been,Nets led throughout the first three quarters even without Dirk's contribution.Fourth quarter,Bibby shifted into higher gear and led the Kings past Nets,they outscored the Nets 31-14.Player of the game,Mike Bibby,killed Nets defence with 38 points.Dirk on the other hand,was killed by Peja and a second player,he was geting double teamed all the time which led to a disaster of a game for Dirk,he went 1-16 from the field
Carter gave support to his teammate,saying that everybody can have a bad game and that he knows what Dirk can do,they just need to forget this game lightning fast

GRIZZLIES OUTSCORE NETS IN A GAME BETWEEN TWO NBA POWERHOUSES

NBA powerhouse derby,Nets and Grizzlies,both teams ranked 99 overall went at each other,it was a nerve wrecking game,both teams played great basketball at streches,but in the end Grizzlies won the game.Once again,a PG scored a great deal of points,and this time it was Jason Williams,he scored 27 points and earned the player of the game award.But Nets got more worried about something other than the loss,Nene,Nets starting PF,inyured his leg in the third quarter.He was taken to the lockerroom and after a check from the docs,Nets could breath easily again,it wasn't anything serious.He returned to the game in the forth quarter,but couldn't prevent the loss.

When the corner stone of your team,the star of the team,which is in his last year of contract says,something has to change,you know heads are going to roll,not literally!Nets GM once again come up with a big trade.He sent underachiving Ming and up-down Nowitski to Minnesota for KG and Troy Hudson:

KG,THE KID in the jesey of New Jersey,nobody saw it coming,exept Rod Thorn.But the way it started,his debut wasn't going to be a happy on,Nets were outscored in the first,24-12.Nets responded,though in the second,outscoring the Clippers 20-15.Garnett had 10 points by half.Heading into fourth quarter,Nets were down by 5.That's when Kidd took over,he played great defence,got 6 steals and fueled Nets fastbreak game.He finished with 18 points,10 steals and 2 assists.KG finished with 25 points and 9 rebs.But the most important thing for couch Frank,Nene's transition to center went without a problem,he played great,grabbing 14 rebs and scoring 12 points.Carter,who was moved to SF,got 17 points and Wagner,the new starter for the Nets finished with 4,but the couch is sure that once Wagner gets used to starting games,he will get more.

BIG OVERTIME PUSH GETS THE WIN FOR THE NETS

Nets trio of superstars led the team to a win,but it took an overtime to get the win.
Nets started strong,but the Pistons tightened the defence and outscored the Nets in the second 32-19.Nets had to work hard to overcome the gap and managed to do so in the fourth quarter.The game went into overtime.That's when Kidd once again took over and got the win for the Nets,he finished with 16 points,7 steals and 2 assists.Nets outscored the Pistons by 9 points in overtime and are 2-0 since KG arrived.Carter led the Nets in scoring with 25 points,while KG managed to chip in 16 shooting 6-10 from the field.Player of the game was Jason Kidd.

Nets were down by two with 5 seconds to go,Kidd received the pass and shoot the three,as the buzzer sounded,the whole arena watched the ball fly throw the air in silence.It went in,Nets got the win and there was a big sad look on the faces of the Bobcats which signed Z.Ilgauskas in the offseason.Carter and Kidd once again led the Nets with 10 assists combined and 30 points,18 from Carter.KG got 15 points and had 8 rebs.Nene once again had 10+ rebs,14.The game was a great to watch,both teams going at each other as if it was game 7 of the NBA Finals.A great game.

Nets bounced back from the Pacers fiasco with a blowout against the Bulls.Kidd,Carter and Nene combined scored 47 points to lead the Nets.But another player took the spotlight,Nets rookie scored 18 points of the bench to show Nets organisation that they picked well this summer.The way this kid is playing,one question comes to mind:what were the scouts of other teams thinking?

Nets had 5 days of rest until this game.It did them no good,they lost to Phoenix.Second and fourth quarter were unlucky for the Nets,they were outplayed in both.Couch Frank was helpless,whatever he tried didn't work.I guess it was just one of those days.Carter was the only one playing for the Nets,he led the team with 27 points,but he couldn't go alone against the Suns.After the game,the team said that he is trully their leader,couse he never stops trying and that they should follow his lead.
Suns were led by Amare Stoudemire who scored 17 points and got to 7 rebs.He was named player of the game.
