Meh (<-OMFG!), Jowe have already spoiled it all once.
Anyway, saw the movie 2 days ago and I thought it was alright. Sure the love scenes wasen't that good due the bad acting but I really loved the end scenes
Spoiler
When we get to see Obi-Wan's disspointment and frustration with Anakin.
"You were suppose to be the chosen one, the one that would bring balance to to the force, not to leave it in the dark" That was really awesome acting by McGregor. I also really enjoyed when we get to see the first breaths in the Vader suit.
Tue May 24, 2005 7:00 pm
well..i do think he brought balance to the force though...2 jedi. yoda and obi wan, 2 sith...sidious and anakin..lmao
Tue May 24, 2005 7:10 pm
Filip, that was pretty much the only good acting in the movie. He was pretty good throughout the whole thing.
Tue May 24, 2005 7:33 pm
Apart from Jowe who can't breath without spoiling something for someone else, I wonder if people actually know what a spoiler is.

Anakin joins the dark side through grief and not being able to let go... isnt it? He started in Ep 2 when his mother died. Then when he didnt wanna lose Padme... he resorted to the dark side and turned to it for answers...

I give up.

Tue May 24, 2005 10:05 pm
yeah, Ewan McGregor's acting was good....wouldn't expect anything else from the star of "Trainspotting"....
good movie....better than Episode 1 and 2....it was action from start to finish which was good....not a great movie, but worth seeing nonetheless to tie the whole story together....
and I now understand why Obi Wan vanishes as he is getting struck by Darth Vader's light sabre in Episode 4

He didn't turn to the darkside for answers.
SpoilersHe turned to the dark side because he wanted to save Padme from a certain death that he visioned (he thought he could save ppl from dying by joining the dark side).
Another reason why he turned was because he was pissed at the Jedi council for not seing and fully apprecite his potenial (in his perspective).
Basicly: Anakin was immature and greedy and therefor couldn't resist the to join the dark side.
I guess that one of the messages in StarWars is something like "easy and wide is the road to hell".OK i watched Phantom Menace, Attack OF The Clones and Return of The Sith. You should watch them from the dates they were released, not the epsiode list. So watch 3-4 & 5 first. After that watch 1-2 and finally 3.
It's like the Hannibel Lecter series, part 2 was released before part one. (Silence of the Lambs is indeed the second "episode", Red Dragon came first.)
Wed May 25, 2005 4:29 am
Everyone says watch it by the order of release, but why? You get the story messed up. I rather watch it by the sequence of the story.
Wed May 25, 2005 4:37 am
go ahead and waste 15hrs+ or whatever to find out
i thought it was a good movie. lol too much to mention.. i would recommend it.
a revenge of the sith thread for people who have have actually seen it and would like to discuss things rather then writing in small text everytime would be nice...

Either you're too stupid or you're too stupid.
If millions of fans of the Star Wars franchise didn't manage to "mix it up" why are you an exception. Oh yeah, you're stupid.
Wed May 25, 2005 5:14 am
Well, some parts are a bit confusing though:
In the old movies they say that Yoda trained Obi-Wan when it was in fact (according to the new movies) Qui-Gon who trained him.
There was also another thing (Probably a bunch of things in the mather of speaking) that didn't match that I don't remember right now.
Wed May 25, 2005 8:29 am
Millions of Star Wars fans are, as u said not stupid. They are just low lifes that camp outside the theatre to watch a Star Wars movie. So ofcourse they wont get the story messed up, i will.
Wed May 25, 2005 8:33 am
You don't have to be a fucking Star Wars nird to understand the story

Basically the point of the new movies are to give you an interesting perspective on what led up to the old movies. They aren't really to all tell a story in order (at least in my/many people's opinions).
Wed May 25, 2005 9:04 am
The whole premise of the new Star Wars movies was to explain Darth Vader. People found him interesting (obviously with him being one of the best movie bad guys ever, throw in the fact that he's the hero's father) so it made sense to tell his story. As Fender said, it's not meant to continue straight onto the old movies. If that was the case they'd have a 4th one with Luke growing up, much the same as the Phantom Menace with Anakin growing up.
Wed May 25, 2005 9:13 am
Well i never watched the old movies so i wanted to watch them in order. I know the story because i watched episodes 1-3. For the people that have watched the old ones that's a different story. I can watch them by order of release now, because the old ones are by order (i think
)
Wed May 25, 2005 1:50 pm

So you're indirectly saying they are smarter than you because they
don't get the story messed up?
Otay.
