I did something I can be proud of!

That's right, I did something that's not completely worthless!

These are some scanned drawings I made, all with pencil and freehand so the lines might be a little fucked up. Also, excuse my bad handwriting. Oh yeah, keep in mind I'm 12 so I feel extremely proud about these

The <> were trying to show emphasis on the boniness of his body. I did the same kind of thing in an Iverson drawing.

Nice stuff Goat, the things Filip mentioned also seemed a bit weird to me but the face is pretty well. We've got some good drawers in the community, there was a thread with pictures like this over at dotorg too.

Anyways, about your handwriting, if you consider yours bad then you really wouldn't want to see mine. My geography & economics teacher actually begged me to try writing a bit decent during my highschool finals (monday, ) all I did was laugh and they were like...no, we're serious, please atleast try. In other words, that's a good handwriting dude, specially since you're only 12.

One student in my old class had a handwriting like a 3year old, and
the guy had the highest grades you can get on all classes (except german).

Well not that MJ sucked, but I agree, it's harder to create a likeness of someone when there's nothing to capitalize on a physical feature to exaggerate.

you should color those or at least ink them if you're not too good with coloring them by hand like me (I usually end up destroying my drawings by trying to color them)

If I color them on the computer they look terrible and by hand it looks bad too because I can never stay in the lines lol. Look at Tupac's eyebrows, I couldn't even stay within the lines on those.

Not only will they want color, they'd want you to stay in the lines. Hell, I don't want a sudden scar/scratch (random line) on my face if you're doing my portrait.
