Player's interviews :

In ROAR MAGAZINE :

Time-Out with Travis Outlaw. Image

Can you define your game?
TO: I like to say my game looks like Magic Johnson's one, but that may sound like vanity. I'm not nearly as good as he was. But I can play both guard positions and also SF. I like to go to the hole and to keep my teammates involved.

Do you mean you can play the point?
Yeah, I definitly cans play PG. You know I've learn my game on a playground so I've been learning to handle the ball, to see the game and to make fancy dishes.

What about playing with Qyntel Woods?
He's one of my best friends, you know. We are always hanging together.

You came to the NBA directly from HS, what can you say about that?
Well, I think the age limit for the NBA is probably a good thing, cause you know, it's hard to make it when you're a high schooler. They just take you because of you athletism or your ball handling skills...but the game isn't like that.

Thanks Travis... hope you'll make the playoffs.
Thanks to you. And even if we are a new team, we'll make the playoffs. I'm here to win.

George Eddy's blog :

Hi, what's up fellas ?
Today we're gonna' talk about this year new team : the Charlotte Bobcats.
A few days ago, when they drafted Emeka Okafor I was claming at everyone who would listen to me that they have made THE right choice. But now ... What can I say ... They had Okafor, Wallace and Knight who i'm sure is a great point guard, and they traded those great players for one of the most selfish player you can find (Wagner), a guy who, if he wasn't an NBA player, would be in jail (Woods) and a Chinese who have never done anything here. They still got Theo Ratliff who's a great defender, but what's the point about taking Travis Outlaw.... ? I mean this kid is a freaking athlet but he got no game !
So are the Bobcats gonna' set a new NBA record ? The team with the more defeats in a season ...

The first two trades are pretty nice, but you absolutely raped yourself on the 3rd one. What's your motivation ehind that trade? I figure you absolutely hate Knight and Wallace? :)

I assume that this trade may figure kinda crazy, but ... maybe i am.
I found that Wagner could play the point so i get rid of Knight, and for Wallace (superb athlet, poor shooter) I figured that Outlaw and Woods (ex trailblazers :? ) could make it better...

I didn't really like the last two trades, but the first one seems to be paying off, Wagner seems to be doing well for you. Keep it going

Benard Robinson is gold!!! He's a very poor man's Scottie Pippen....harness him and reap the rewards (Y)

btw, those trades were not very good to say the least....ahh well, it will be good to see a Bobcats dynasty without Okafor....these people with Bobcats dynasties really need to mix it up a little

Yeah Bernard Robinson is quite good, i like him very much. He can shoot well, CAN DEFEND, and can handle the ball ... Great player coming from the bench.

I just did sign Lonnie Jones (maybe you know him, he played with the Cavaliers in Summer League), he's gonna' be a starter cause I think Malik Allen is too weak.

http://www.nba.com/playerfile/lonnie_jones/

I saw him played in Cleaveland's team in Summer League, and it seems that he played one game with the Bucks this season (even if i thought he was cut before the season beginning).
Happy ?

Boston Celtics vs Charlotte Bobcats

Image
Antoine Walker was too good for the Bobcats.

Celtics win 102 - 66

The Charlotte Bobcats couldn't handle Antoine Walker, he was just too good. Scoring, grabbing rebounds, or dishing assists, he was just the best tonight. He was also a great defender, keeping Lonnie Jones away fro the basket and making him shooting a terrible 1/9 field goals. He finishes the game with 34 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and his teammate Paul Pierce scores a pretty good 24 points coming with 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
It was a very bad night for the Bobcats who lose by 36 points... Actually the only good thing for them tonight was Travis Outlaw starting to find his shoot with 7/11 for 15 points. Otherwise the team was stuck at a terrible .361 FG% while also making 5/5 of their 3 pointers. Plus you can notice Wagner is still very selfish with only 2 assists...
A night to forget...

Game boxscore
Outlaw's tommahawk in the 4th quarter
Wagner can handle the ball, but can he handle the team ?
Bobcats shoot only five 3 pointers but made it all, with Wagner's 4/4

Good Luck for the rest of the Dynasty

Charlotte Bobcats vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Image
LeBron with 26 points and 7 assists.

Cavs win 109 - 96

Tonight was Dajuan Wagner's first game against his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wagner played a good game with 20 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds, but not good enough to win it. Because on the other side you had the ONE : LeBron James. With his 26 points and 7 dishes he just killed the game. Travis Outlaw got out of the game with 6 personnal faults and then Bernard Robinson tried to handle James. But LBJ23 was just THE man and Robinson could just watch...
Next game against Cleveland in two days.

Game boxscore
Q24's dunk
Jason Hart was exchanged for Dajuan Wagner at the beginning of the season
Lonnie Jones powerful two handed dunk
Franchise player = Dajuan Wagner
