Leaked Playstation3 Specs, and Possible Pics

^hehe...don't know half the stuff listed on their though...the games are pretty much what's going to make or break a console anyway...and i'm pretty partial to the ps3 since a lot of the franchises I like are gonna go their: Metal Gear, Tekken, etc. been itching to play those games since I don't have a PS2. still watiing for MGS3 PC as well as GTA:SA PC. Tekken 5 I can only play when I go to the arcades then I 'd usually get my butt kicked coz I don't know much about the new characters

Doesn't the offical PS3 get revealed at E3 on Wednesday?

Plus the fast ones are insanely expensive, like only the military can afford them.

Colin's right, it exists: computers used by the military for battle simulations to virtually train members of the armed forces like fighter pilots and submarine "drivers" (I don't know the right term )

PS3 is better than the Xbox 360, it's like 3 times faster than 360.

well...there're supposed to be 3 3.2ghz processors in xbox360 while ps3's only got one. although I think the ps3 is gonna have better video card and RAM or something. either way, the games are going to determine their success.

Yep, so PlayStation fans...

It's settled, I would never buy an Xbox since I'm not a consol-user... So I thought. I will get the PS3, and instead of buying a new PC (it would have been a PC instead of a mac because of games...) I'll invest in a Mac.

Well I saw the F1 trailer for PS3, and I must say, that the PS3 is going to spank XBox360's ass raw...
The graphics looks more realistic, the sound is way better, and the looks of it, the gameplay is better.

The graphics aren't in game. I don't know how people get sucked into this. I've seen PSX graphics that look better than PS2 graphics. The reason? They're not in game screens.

I liked the images Null posted, hell if that's the way it'll look I'll buy it. It'll go perfectly with my newly received Philips 7.1 Surround Sound system.

In fact? Did you see them playing it? Virtually every game does this, they have "in game" graphics that are either:

A) really shit, and blamed as being "in producition screens"
B) really great, but aren't real shots from the actual game being played.

It's happened with every NBA Live I can think of from 2002 onwards, the best indication of in game graphics are when they're in video game magazines, at least they'll post pictures that they take of the screen they're playing the game on. Sites like IGN get official things from the companies and post those. Remember the original Tekken? The "in game" pictures of that looked better than 99% of games that have come out since.

hate to disagree with you but Jae, I can think of a lot of games that the pre-release pics look just like the actuall game

OMG!!!! I jus saw the vids for both PS3 and X360. The graphics are unbalivable. nba live 2006 is gonna be so damn realistic!!!!!!!

I understand a certain level of sceptism against it, but I doubt that virutally every damn demo looks so goddamn good without it transferring on to the final product. But maybe you're right and we should be careful at sh-tting our pants, I wont. But it might be smart.
