Stupid Detroit Fan

How can you honestly try to say that all Pistons fans are stupid? This kind of stuff happens at all games in the professional sports world, you just don't hear about it as much. Believe me, if someone in Portland threw a coin and hit an opposing player on like the Clippers, and the player didn't make a big deal during the game, you would not hear about it on the news. The fan would be arrested and taken out, and that's the end of it. But since the brawl in November, every little thing that happens between a fan and a player is gonna be all over the media. It's a shame that Detroit has some ignorant fans (as does every team) that don't care about the team or city's reputation. But c'mon, you can't rag on the entire city and fanbase just because two idiots were too drunk to control themselves. I've been to many Pistons games, and there has never been an altercation at any of them. In fact, most of the people in the same section as me seemed to be good fans...
Also, Detroit has been near the top of the Most Violent Cities in America list in recent years, but the Palace of AUBURN HILLS, which the Pistons play at, is in AUBURN HILLS... nowhere near Detroit. If you take a drive down the main streets in Detroit, you're gonna see hundreds of potholes, tons of guys smoking weed in phone booths, and really dirty streets and buildings. Take a drive to Auburn Hills, and you'll feel wealthy. It's a really nice area, and nowhere near comparable to Detroit.

That's the problem, he is a mental case.
The fan should have thrown that coin into C-Webb, maybe that will "inspire" him to play better.

Jesus this has nothing to do with wealth or self-controll....I was an air traffic-controller and I guarantee you if a pilot came into the tower and threw a beer on me or a coin for making him hold over a beacon...I'd kick his ass.
I'm certain if you were a UPS driver and a guy threw a punch at you because a package was late, you'd clean his clock....why do we try and hold sportsmen to a standard we would never live up to.
My only complaint about Ron Artest is focus...go after the right bozo

"It makes the whole of Detroit look bad; as far as the fans, it makes all of them look bad as a whole, and it shouldn't. It's just one or two (bleeps) that make everybody look bad.
"I don't think those people in that arena that came and paid good money to see the game and enjoyed themselves should be punished or talked about in a negative way because of something one (bleep) does. It was just one or two people, and that's that. I didn't have no problems with those fans up until that point, and I don't expect nothing else to happen."
