code base error

Everytime i install the nba.....
after i finish install it, i run the game. then the screen turn black and then i heard a sound. then this code base error shown.

this is a new install, and i didn't fix anything.
my video card is GeForce MX 4000...

Hmmm its a corrupt file. Try copying the player.DBF from this file on your computer:

C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2005\database\Origdb

to where the corrupt one is:

C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ASDFASD\ASDFASDF\NBA LIVE 2005\DATABASE\WORKINGDB

That should do the trick

i reinstall the game, and before i launch the game, i copied the file from originlb to workingdb. after i launch the game, the same thing shows.....

Try copying players.DBF off your CD to that directory

delete the working db. The game makes a new one if one isnt there. I had the same problem. copying the file over for some reason doesnt work.
