Very true , he isnt the great he used to be , but he does still shoot great and he is quick and has handling so that should at least get him to a 70 , i mean yah 64 isnt horrible but reggie miller should be a 70 , and soemone else i feel is underated it fredd jones on the pacer , he is ranked 55 , maybe he should be the 64 , he is worth more than that , he doesnt even have a 3 beside his name and everytime i shoot with him in game he hits them np.

and in reply to the Cheer for your own hero comment , yah thats very true and thats ow the perfect world should be , but without the arguments of who is the best , we wouldnt have the fun we have today bitchin on these forums lol, im going to leave on a good comment , that is , ......................................PACERS FOR LIFE!!!!
Pacers for life!!!!

Basically. They won't dunk often, but their high jump rating does help them block shots and get rebounds, more so than someone with the same ratings but a very low jump.

Whenever i play Al Harrington in the lineup, he gets a few blocks every game simply from his 85 jump rating, but his Block rating is only 15 (but i think if you sim the game vs playing, he won't get any blocks).

I haven't played enough yet, but using the Warriors as my Dynasty team...

Jason Richardson is complete crap in the game (even using updated rosters). The guy can't shoot a 3 if his life depended on it, he misses layup after layup, and I've yet to execute a successful alley-oop with him (but Adonal Foyle can???).

Troy Murphy is overrated. He pulls off 18 points and 15 boards every game, and while I love Murph and he does have the ability to do that every now and then, it's not realistic.

And in my first game of the year, Baron Davis went out with a knee injury for 9 games. So, in that sense, he's right on par

I think Miller could be a bit higher. I mean in the game against the Lakers where he got 35 pts or something, the commentator said "Reggie hasn't even hit the ring yet (from 3); hes got 3 swishes and an airball" so hes obviously got a good 3 point shooter. But thats not all he is the best FT shooter in the NBA ever (i think  )

No He's the 7th all-time leader in free throws and he is second in FT percentage this year.

I agree that Miller is fine, he was never a great All-round player in the first plave, and in his prime if you rated him, he'd hardly be breaking the 80's.

Reggie can still shoot, but he's not quick or fast, his defense isn't there, though he was never the best defender, and he's a bad rebounder, and average passer. I don't think that will get you a 70 rating.

You forget one of Reggie's best qualities: He's the best trash talker in the NBA, no one gets the opponents out of balance like Miller :D

I'd have to say no doubt Kenyon Martin(Denver) and Mike Bibby(Sacramento) are underated as well as Kyle Korver. I Cant think of any overated players though.

I found that in one specific area Pao Gasol is underrated. He misses so many 6 foot jump shots it is ridiculous. I might as well drive my SG in to make the same shot, because they will hit it twice as much as he will, even though in real life he has a great jump shot at that distance.

Sorry for trailing off, but wouldn't that be a cool rating: trash-talking! A player who has a high trash-talk rating gets the opponents players on cold-streaks and his team-mates on hot-streaks.

Amare. He's rated pretty good but statistically he's one of the best in the league.
In Efficiency per 48 minutes he's #3 in the league behind KG and Duncan, and ahead of Shaq, Dirk, and LeBron.

All you really need to improve is his jumper since he can hit it well, and he also has range to about 20, so his three pointer goes up to 40 I guess. Apart from that, probably his speed and quickness, and maybe handles. He's not the best rebounder though, not much of a passer, and only an average defender.

Nash and Amare are both HIGHLY underrated.
Where is Nash's 3 ball??
They both should be in the 80's for sure.

Oh, and for Amare, inside scoring should be high...

After the 27 point outburst against Miami (of all teams), i'd have to revise my opinion and call Brezec the most underrated, he's a 32 :/

And Dwayne Wade is so underrated in the original roster that if you switch him to SG the CPU won't even play him that many minutes.

OH YEAH! I forgot about him, too. His rating is really ridiculous. He should be somewhere near 60.

IMO Chris Mihm has a too low overall in the original roster, he's been playing much better than anticipated in real life. He's easy to use, though, with good blocking and scoring skills, overall rating isn't everything.
