i think the first team is almost a lock for iverson and james at guard.

people keep putting players in positions they dont play. kobe is a guard, lebron is a guard, they can't change their position for the all nba teams.

tales, your first team has the best players, but it wont happen because LEBRON IS A GUARD!!!!

Actually Lebron is a forward, he's played SF all year, and is recognized as a forward by everyone. Just because the All-Star voting put him as a guard doesn't mean he is one.

He could be voted in as a guard if they want to have Dirk in first team, but we'll see, but he is a FORWARD [just wanted to copy the screaming].

i know that he is listed as a forward for the cavs and that he has played small forward. but the panel that selects the all nba team always for some reason uses what the player was listed as in the beginning of the season. and lebron was listed as a guard.

one year when chris mullin was on the warriors he got jipped out of second team recognition because he was listed at the beginning of the year as a forward, but he played guard all year, and their were more worthy guards.

I know they adjust it based on the votes though because in 2001-2002, Tmac made first team as a forward, while Kobe and Kidd were the guards, and Dirk made second team as a center while Webber and KG were the forwards. So if Lebron, Iverson and let's say Kobe all get 80+ 1st team votes, and the next G/F has like 20, then those 3 will all make it.

that may be a newer thing because the mullin thing happened in 1994 i believe.
