This is turning into the thread, where lame jokes come to die.
If stoudamire wants to win it, i suggest him try to break the backboard.

Breaking the backboard these days is hard isnt it made of like High Grade Plexyglass, Thats unbreakable by a persons strength isnt it.

Fred Jones is the closest you can get to Spudd Webb and he's a foot taller than Spudd.

6 3' isn't much shorter than many of the best dunkers in the game. Dwayne Wade is 6 4' and is probably better than Fred Jones. Carter is 5 51?2' and is rediculous. Iverson is barely 6 foot and threw down some sick dunks in his earlier days.
Im not taking anything away from Fred Jones because he is a grerat dunker for his height.

Straight forget about that. I know Jones can jump high a sometimes he slams it really hard in someone's face, but he won't win again, that's for sure!
Looking at what dunkers did in past Dunk Contest compared to what Jones did last year is a big difference. Everybody was like "Nice to see not the best dunker winning", breaking down in laughter. He can do some 360s and some bounces, but that's definetly not enough!

Exactly, if it were up to Onyx, Ricky Davis would win every year.

Stoudemire is just ferocious wit his dunks, but he aint finesse

I like the Pacers, but we all know that J-Rich was robbed that night. I am a fan, not a biased fan.

Is that your....Final Answer BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

sorry 5 5 1/2. I read an article saying that. I cant really find the article but trust me I saw it.
Tue Feb 08, 2005 9:56 am
Right, so the article you saw said he was 5'5"? but this says he's 6'6", and so does this and this and this? Wow, to notice that VC is actually the second smallest player in the NBA, plus the shortest ever to win a dunk contest, you must be some sort of genius! Good job, that's breaking news!

It's not official that he's out!! Josh'll come back and play through it, although I don't know how many of you would like to see an injured dunker try to do his thang.
I would want it to be
Josh Smith
J.R. Smith (although I haven't seen his dunks yet, any memorable sc highlights?)
Amare
LeBron
it'll porbably be
fred jones (who sucks at dunking.. the worst dunk contest on earth)
Amare
LeBron
some whiteguy..

joking
Iggy

Tue Feb 08, 2005 2:07 pm
Why arent old players ever in the dunk contest, like Francis, VC, and them....???
Tue Feb 08, 2005 2:15 pm
You think Francis is old?
Tue Feb 08, 2005 2:20 pm
Not old as in age but as thier nba experience....
Tue Feb 08, 2005 2:23 pm
Ahhh
Yea I would like to see him in a Dunk Contest just once
Tue Feb 08, 2005 4:34 pm
sorry 6 5 1/2'. You don't have to cry about it, everyone makes a mistake now and then.
Tue Feb 08, 2005 6:21 pm
we should start a petition to get Earl Boykins into the contest!

It would be nice, but I only said that Fred doesn't have a slice of a chance.
