NBA Live 2005 Editor v1.1 released

Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Postby Andrew on Wed Jan 26, 2005 11:08 am

I'm still testing some of the problem areas. Last year a similar tool was made that corrupted databases and caused crashes in Dynasty Mode. I'll have a report ready within the next couple of hours. (Y)

EDIT: Please check your email, I've sent you the results of my test. Still a few issues to iron out, but some changes are showing up in the game. Unfortunately, saving the changes also causes a few problems.

Don't know about you guys, but I feel a lot better that Andrew is testing this tool out before it goes public. I appreciate the work Andrew. I know i'd be pissed if this tool destroyed my dynasty. Keep up the good work (Y)

I appreciate the kind words Cocobee, but it's Diego who's doing the hard work, not me. I'm just a beta tester. ;)

Hi all.

I receive the news from Andrew. I will try to release a free bugs tool, so I need a litle more time, I'm discussing some things with Andrew.

I will post any news here or visit nba.gamingaccess.com for future information.

So far it's working pretty good, still testing out all the functions and all the usual crash spots.

Just finished some further thorough testing (check your email Diego ;)), and the player editor is working fine as far as I can tell: there are no crashes and the changes are showing up in the game. It's also very easy to use. (Y) Still a couple of issues with the team editor but the beta is working pretty well on the whole. :)

Nah tehy arent in .viv , well not for me.

I could help greatly with teh Xbox Versions if you wanted. IM big XB Patcher and all (been doing that before ever even started to play Live `03.... Long ass time ago.. Kind Of) anyways. Thne total game is 1.3 GB and each individual files (Courts, Logos, Player, Cyberfaces, etc.) Probally come up to 300 or Less MegaBytes. I may be wrong ( im trying to remember this off the top of my head.) So i can very much help.

XB Patching and Comp patching is very different due to the different formats and the picky reading of the files. If you are able to do this, half of the board will not be able to anyways so it would not be smart to hold up the release to do this lil XB Thing, but we could sell or just distribute CDs of the patches for XB but will stil not be able to rip the patches onto the game due to the majority of *Legit* consoles.
