Is Eminem's name based on the candy M&M's? Just something I've wondered about...

1) "Eminem" comes from "Marshall Mathers" = M&M (not the candy). But to avoid legal trouble with the candy company, he spelled it "Eminem" in his records.

Man, that so-called point is completely stupid: you can't judge someone's talent from its commercial success. Tons of quality writers/painters/musicians/etc were ignored by critics and the public their whole lives (and got recognition later). Tons of crappy artists sold zillions. That proves money doesn't have a thing to do with talent. Remember, "Billions of flies like shit, but that doesn't make it any better".
