Please help a dumbass (with roster patching)

Postby MysticEric on Mon Jan 24, 2005 1:45 pm

Hey all, I'm so lost right now. I've just downloaded the latest roster update and I've read the instructions and the Frequently asked questions yet i'm still not able to do the patch.
I've downloaded the EA graphics editor and the fshX thingy.

So I downloaded the latest roster update, then zipped everything to my desktop. Then that desktop zip has a "self install" program so I did that. That makes a NBA Live 2005 folder in "My Documents" and this folder includes:
configs
settings
saves
database
screenshots.

Now I've opened my EA Graphics editor program and located the sgsm\players and opened the plyrface.viv file. So far so good right? Now I go to tools and "Add files" now here's where I'm lost. Which files am I supposed to import? All of the NBA LIve 2005 folder that the zip, self install Patch file created? or what? Please help!

Thanks,

Eric.

What exactly are you trying to do? Roster updates are installed to the saves folder, and can then be loaded from within the game.

No importing necessary, the patch uses the CustomArt folder. Should something go wrong with that part of the installation, check out Legends Faces.txt for troubleshooting info.
