DT's Orlando Magic dynasty

first season

my starting line up:

C Emeka Okafor
PF Dwight Howard
SF Grant Hill
SG Penny Hardaway
PG Steve Francis

I traded Tony Battie and Cuttino Mobley to the Bobcats for Emeka Okafor.
I've used DB commander to change the attributes of Penny and Hill accordingly to their 90s all star version, and i put Penny back into Orlando. i don't know if thats cheating though,lol, just kinda realizng my dream of seeing best shaped Hill and Penny

my team is very strong but not invincible, we have lost some games

Penny Hardaway is the Ace of my team, Top 3 in the league in scoring, steals and blocks, he is having a MVP season
he will finish his career in Orlando and I will retire his jersey here,
actually all my starters will finish their careers here, but to see Penny retire here and have his Magic jersey retired with glory, would be very touching for a fan of Penny that has supported him for 10 years already ,even if it is just in a video game

Dwight Howard is a candidate for Rooke of the Year award, as he is averaging over 20 points, 10 rebounds [top 3] and also top five in the league for blocks
I have just got Emeka Okafor, have not try him yet, but Howard played well with Kelvin Cato, so I expect Okafor and Howard to form a very strong wall under the basket

Steve Francis now focus on passing the ball and directing, throwing alley-oops and all that, Grant Hill is a very all-around player but I have not fully utilized his abilities, still trying

i dont really have a shooter in my starting line up, but I have Hedo Turkoglu and Pat Garrity coming off the bench, providing outside shooting power

Just go into "Instant replay" off the ingame pause menu, then press the little box down in the bottom right hand corner, then press F12.

The screenshots can be found in your My Documents/NBA Live 2005/Screenshots Directory (You might want to resize them too)

You will also need a host to upload the pics to.... photobucket.com is good.

Anyway, it looks like you have a strong team there, i just started a Magic Dynasty, but have stuck with pretty much the real life rosters, you should check it out "Illusion" its called.

I have found that Francis can be a pretty effective shooter as long as you dont force it, what are your experiences with him.

And you right about Hill being a great all rounder, although he's not that great a scorer.

Anyway good luck for the rest of the dynasty I hope you can keep it going

i think its hard to have a mid range game in this game, the defense is like glue, also very hard to get past the defenders... but when Francis is open, he is a pretty good shooter, but again, only when he is open and not forcing it, his scoring is alright but i use him for passing the ball and directing, i think he is Top 10 for assists and Top 5 for steals, he could create lots of fastbreaks, unfortunately there are some flaws in the game like the passer and receiver must be standing still in order to complete the pass, which makes the pace slower, also when im going for a fastbreak, my teammates are jogging, and they stop at the 3 point line, thats stupid, EA better fix these problems

im not gonna make anymore major roster changes, im sticking with this line up, lol

Steve Francis tipped Gary Payton's pass, the ball bounced to the front court, Okafor hustled from behind , he out-raced Payton, got the ball and dunked it with one hand

Okafor shows an example of hardwork helps you win games
