I must have missed some versions since 0.37.
Can I have version from 0.38 to 0.40 too?

alexboom wrote:the roster now includes the bobcats, the rookies and all the latest trades of course

Bobcats would be fun to play! Challenging would be more apporpriate to make it a successful franchise. Miami with Shaq but thin depth and LA without O'neal would be interesting to play too.

I've been away from home for quite some time.
I couldn't play the game. I left the cd at home.

I already did and received a reply from you. thx

that's ok. I've been keeping the roster files even before Ben's versions, esp. versions with major changes. I thought others do it too. :o

alexboom wrote:anyway, there's no need to keep them, i think so?

One reason is that the files are not so big.

The second reason is in case of bugs in the newest version. If I find many bugs and unrealistic stats or salaries for example, I change back to the older version until they are fixed. Once in Ben's roster, I was playing Denver and found one player(SF) whose name I forgot was even smaller than Boykins.

The other, more important one is that the roster files are very valuable to me since I'm into NBA basketball and NBA Live2000 game so much. Actually I don't go back to older versions often - only once in the past - but I keep it with the love of the patch and the game.

I can't imagine how my life would be without NBA and NBA live 2000 with latest patches. :P

in that, I'd like to thank you again..!

I think I have all your versions though I wrote above that I don't keep all.
I can check out hard disk of my pc later.

Did you post it in the forum to get the older versions?
or Were you just wondering out of curiosity?

Maybe just out of curiosity, right? Now you know I'm crazy.
Yeah I'm a crazy gamer hoplessly devoted to rosters.
Hope I'm not the only one who is in love with the game and the rosters.

alexboom wrote:anyway, you should have recieved the version 0.41 of the roster now :)

Yeah! thanks. For now, getting the roster file saved in my laptop relieves me though I can't play it at the moment. I can't wait to play the new roster.

now that the Pacers roster stands at 17, while NBA Live 2000 can only support 15 players per team, we have a problem. I started a topic on Live 2005 Roster Issues, as every version of Live is concerned :)

Please give your comments and opinion on that topic!

Version 0.46 is released. Here's what's new:

- Updated rosters through December 11th (Vince Carter on IR)
- Updated every player's weight and some players' height which weren't accurate
- Created Viktor Khryapa, Tommy Smith, Arthur Johnson, Matt Bonner, Lionel Chalmers, Antonio Burks, John Edwards, Andre Barrett, Damien Wilkins, Tony Bobbitt and Corsley Edwards: no more missing players!
- Moved Chris Mills to Legends Pool
- Updated some ratings, thanks to J~LYTE

Version 0.47 has been released earlier than expected, because of the Carter/Mourning trade

Good! I'd love to play it now but I'm away from home.. Gotta wait until this January. :(

Alex, is there no 16 footer clone guys with 75 ratings now? I found less players like that in recent rosters.

I hate them because they kill the balance of the game with a little bit of everything with all the stats in 75 including FG, 3pt, block, steal, rebound, strength, FT, inside scr, awareness, speed, quickness...

If the clone guys can not be modified in a short time, at least 3pt, steal and blk need to vary according to the position.(possibly shooting range too) :o

thank you

Yeah, the "75" clones are my big next work ... The number of theses players are really decreasing as I'm tweaking as many ratings as possible in every update ... If a big trade doesn't force me to release v. 0.48 earlier, the next version should not suffer anymore of this problem, or at least it should be less impacting

Last time I was home, I played your patch as usual...the funny thing is ...
I always think about trying a new franchise when your new patch comes out but when I play, I choose Blazers most of the time like 85%.

thank you, Alex..

I can't wait 3 more weeks to go back home to play the game with your patch.

This time, I'll try one of Suns, Heat or Blazers. :P

Tomorrow, I go back to my home, which means I have enough time and my pc to play NBA live 2000.

This time(again) I'll try helpless Blazers franchise in your latest version.

btw Alex, is New year's version released yet? Second round pick, Ha is added to Blazer's roster.

I'm still working on it, but i'll be waiting for around the 15th of january before releasing the update, as the rosters are starting to get messy, because many players are released so that their contracts remains unguaranteed. So I could make the difference between the players immediately resigned (Moiso) and the players who seem waived for good (Coleman and Parker?)
