And that it self is hard to do. I don't know how the heck ya'll get 70 poinyts with 1 player, anything over 55 points on SUPER star with HARD sliders is a lie and not reaslistic.

its no lie... but yes it is unrealistic...

Dude try using Dallas on Superstar with "default" sliders... just post Dirk up then casually walk into the paint... you dont have to back him down or try to even get closer to the basket... just as long as your 2 feet are in the paint and pull up for a "j" thats 2 points right there... even on SUPERSTAR... he only misses if hes guarded by Shaq or Yao... but he only misses and its not even a block... go figure...

some one told me he had a sweet spot... i didnt believe so i just tried it and i got about 82 points for fun... realisitcally i would share the ball with others on the team... but he was on FIRE i couldnt resist... plus the CPU was killing me with the 3's with a hand in their faces... so i had to punish them with the Dirk!! HAHAHA

it all depends on positions. its hard NOT to get a lot of boards in any given game if ur a center. i hav amare averaging over 10 rebounds per game, cause at the C he just grabs every defensive board.

also shawn marion has been almost averaging a triple double in the last 5 games for me, and im not intentionally trying to pad his stats or anything. its cause he plays PF, so he gets so many boards... and hes really fast and a good ballhandler so he mans the phoenix fastbreaks (nash is injured)... and he gets a lot of dishes. over the last 5 games hes averaging 24 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists (i think)

in the all star game i might play 12 minute quarters and just try to destroy wit som1... and break the nba record of 100 points lol, ill see if its possible

Just for fun, I went on a scoring rampage with Shaq. He scored 110 points, and I won the game 134-102 against Charlotte on 12 minute All-Star quarters with substitutions on. It's kind of boring, actually. It's more fun as a team game. It's ridiculously easy to score inside the paint. Even if it was Amare or some strong center/power forward, it's hard to miss in the paint.

Not only is it possible but I'll up you one. My brother has a Kirk Hinrich fetish and played the Rookie-Sophomore Challenge and won 118-110. Kirk Hinrich scored 114 points.

I won't too rely on 1 player
If I use Shaq, I'll play inside-out
So Shaq won't score too much

I was screwing around with sliders and, in a game of 5 min quarters, got 32 steals, 102 points, 4 blks, and 3 assists with Dwyane Wade :P We won 110-32

I was just screwin around that game but it was still pretty fun and I mean the points went so fast because this was all on 5 min quarters...and the 3 assists came at the end of the game on the last 3 plays of the game and they were like triple teaming Wade...two of the three were to Eddie Jones (2-2 from 3pt range) when I drew his man to me and one was a dump off to Shaq who threw it down.

i dunno cyanide its not easy to score that much wit amare. if i shoot in the paint i get blocked 9 out of 10 times. the only way to score easily is to dunk, but i try to avoid that cause dunking 15 times wit 1 guy in a game is boooooring

hmmm from 1 move in nba live he becomes ur favorite player? so now wat if he goes 0-10 in the next game, then u wont like him anymore.

anyway, today i gotta play the rookie challenge, does any1 recommend any sliders? i want to just play and not care about playing "realistic" or anything. i just wanna throw down alleys and dunks all game and sprint up and down. im thinking about increasing the gamespeed to 65, which is the same as "Action" mode. but i wanna keep the sliders i hav, and put fatigue down to 40, and put cpu subs on high.

o

i like him a lot in real nba, but not so much in nba live. for some reason hes just not that fun to play with cause he seems too small and doenst really look like him.

his skin is too light in the game, hes darker in real life... and even tho hes listed as 6'4... i feel wen playing with him like im playing with kirk hinrich... while wade is actually big and strong, in live he doesnt resemble that.

wade drives a lot but also hits the mid range shots, and in live his ratings r too low. he should be rated low 80s not 76 overall, but live couldnt kno that.... i jus think if he looked more realistic it would be more fun to play with him

That's what I did, actually. Even with my sliders set to low number of dunks (I get lots of layups), I press the dunk/layup button almost every time. It's extremely boring, but it's better than getting blocked every time I take a jumper. This easily shows another flaw of the game.

Physical contact, EA! We need more of those (not necessarily more fouls, just watch NBA games and figure it out)!

Yea cyanide is right we should see more of people falling and crashing into defenders. Anyway i was just thinking why do professional athlets slap thier teammates on thier ass??? :? It happens in Basketball, Baseball and other sports. I remember JYD in TO used to slap VC in the ass!!! Damn now i just look like a gay person.

Yeah.. he controls the Heat so I can see Wade having insane stats.. but for CPU-controlled Lebron, how the hell does he also manage to put up 32 pts and 3.5 steals?!

The last regular season game with my rockets dynasty. I decided to have some fun. It was against the Nuggets who were already eliminated from the Playoffs so it didn't matter if they won. I used T-Mac to get 118 Points, 62 Assists, 25 Steals and 30 something rebounds in a last ditch effort to get him the MVP award :P (he was second behind shaq in the MVP canidates list before that game. I won the game 250 v ? (can't remember, I can only remember the stats that I broke in the record book.) In the end, T-Mac averaged 61 points 10+ rebounds and assists for the month of April and obviously won the player of the month and later won the MVP award. After that game... I got bored of that dynasty
