Bobcats, a new begining

Postby Matthew on Sat Nov 27, 2004 3:07 pm

OK I got pretty bored with the Magic Dynasty.. plus certain teams just didn't dominate the way I had hoped. So I went with the ultimate challange.. Charlotte. I decided to make some transactions, and here they are:
First was a trade for one of my favourite players Corey Maggette. I packaged Jason Hart/ Gerald Wallace and Jahidi White up and recieved Maggette and doug overton. I cut Overton immediately...

Then I signed two players:

Alonzo Mourning for one year at 6.5 Million. He wanted 2 years at 6.3 million a season but I only want him signed for one season. He is one of my favourite players and it will make this season that much more playable.

Eddie Griffin for 4 years at 2.17 million a season. I got Eddie for so cheap.. He will have a chance to start regularly, and his contract isnt bad.

So my projected starting lineup is O.K.
Center: Alonzo
Power Forward: Emeka
Small Forward: Eddie Griffin
Shooting Guard: Corey Maggette
Point Guard: Eddie House

Rest of my rotation is yet to be decided.. This is going to be a challenge... I hope

Thats nothing ... I my Hornets Dynasty I have traded Jamal Magloire, PJ Brown and Jamal Mashburn for Jermaine O'Neal and Austin Croshere to the Pacers. This new Pacers did beat the Cavs 127-72 :!: in their season opener. Thats what I call a blowout :D.
