Best rookie pickup in your dynasty

Postby JP_Frost on Wed Nov 24, 2004 3:12 am

right now I'm using the Bulls and at the moment I'm scouting a 7'0'' SF and a 6'8'' PG. Both of these guys seem to be very talented players with great potential. I run the risk of not being able to pick them, but I'm taking my chances.

So what have been some great drafted rookies for you guys in your dynasty?

btw...almost all of the time the projected number 1 pick has limited potential. Pretty strange if you ask me.

i've learned that development potential and the projection of when they'll be drafted doesn't necessarily mean squat- which i guess is actually pretty realistic. two players in my dynasty were projected early 2nd round and didn't even get drafted. their ratings were so low they actually got deleted out of the system.

i'm also learning that overall rating doesn't mean a crap. cody worley is a SG i drafted in the 05/06 draft, and his overall is 47, but he can dribble/spin past anybody to lay it in, and he plays overall very well.

i have two rookies on my squad this year- worley and Kurt Harris, a 7-foot center, who is rebounding really well for the limited minutes he's playing.
