question of scouting and drafting...

Mon Nov 22, 2004 9:43 am

Guys, i got this review from gamespot... it says.....

 "By spending dynasty points to scout, you'll be able to get more-accurate stats on each of the players, giving you the information you need for the draft. The best part is that a week before the draft, you can invite players to come in for workouts with your team, and you can actually play as them in one-on-one games against your own players. This hands-on test-drive is a great way to get a feel for your rookie prospects. "

ok.. i got the 1st part there but... i think i didnt encounter the part where i can play as them in 1-on-1 against my own players.... any words of wisdom? all i had was to draft them.... in which i cant even see their stats (height, etc...)

Thanks! :D

hey Mike, You can do this during pre-season after your first dynasty year is done. You can choose to play potential picks before you draft them. This is a cool addition to the pre-season...

After the playoffs are over the first day of the off-season is the Draft Lottery
The next whole week after that day is Rookie Scouting
Just go into one of the days and find a player and hit advance or accept or the X button or (start) button
Then it should take you there
You can play "as" the rookie or "against" him
If you dont like the player that is playing against him then go back and click him again and the player will change

most of what i scouted are 7 foot players... almost all centers and one SF...
