I know they changed how and where to install cyberfaces in 25. It's not as simple as before with NBA2K Hook (I miss that tool) My question is what folder or directory do they go? I created a mods folder and put 4 Piston players update in the 2K25 main directory, however it looks the same. Isiah Stewart should have a headband with the new mod, he doesn't when I open the game.

If you don't know the folder, open manifest in notepad++ and search the file name, it will show any sub folders. Or use the file Explorer and search there.

I have 2 drives, C and D. I installed the game on my D drive (data) because my C drive didn't have enough space to install the game. I searched both drives for Programfiles\(X86)\steamapps\common\NBA2K25\mods\char\sig folder in file explorer. Nothing came up. It has to be somewhere correct?

If the folder has not been created yet, it will not be found by file explorer.
Start Steam. Right click on the NBA 2K25 in your library. Click in manage/browse local files.
From there you can copy or drag and drop from the Zipped file. Copy CF IFF files as Brakayer said. Create the folder if necessary.
I suggest you create a shortcut on your desktop pointing to the main NBA 2K25 folder. This makes it easy to add mods in the future. Most modders have a MODS folder in the zipped file you can drag and drop to the main NBA 2K25 folder. Some have individual files that you need to drag and drop to the correct folder. Not every file you download is setup perfectly so be aware.
My files are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA 2K25. Yours may be in D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA 2K25.

You need to locate the steamapps folder, afaik the usual installation setup for those type of cases is that steam is installed at C drive but some apps are in D under steamapps

I download a cf but the file is different, its in DDS and TXTR File, not the usual IFF file. What do I have to do with this? Thanks!

You might have opened the actual .iff file. Go 'back' up in terms of directory.

You need to open the downloaded file with winrar or 7zip, windows unzip doesn't work properly it shows all the dds and txtr files not the iff

I got some of the CF's to work, but I can't get the courts with ads to show up. I downloaded MSG and it's stiil default. I put the file in the levels folder as well.

Also one note is that if the cyberface you are trying to mod in doesn't match up with the CFID you're replacing, you'll get that blank player thing. For example I got a Dylan Harper cyberface but didn't like that the creator set it to replace Josh Childress, so I changed the cyberface id of the files. I needed to choose a player who had a similar amount of face parts for it to work in game. In the case of Dylan Harper I needed to replace someone with an afro part in their default cyberface. Trying to replace a bald player didn't work.
