Can you use 2K25 face files in 2K24?

Since these mod sites have been shutdown, can you use 2K25 CF's in 2K24?

No, you definitely can't do that because the 2K25 renders are for the new gen, and it works completely differently compared to NBA 2K24. To use them, you would have to convert each headshape for NBA 2K24, and for that, you need knowledge of Blender in addition to having the exclusive plugin for NBA 2K25. I've already converted several cyberfaces from NBA 2K24 to NBA 2K25, and I can assure you that it's a pretty tedious process, especially if you've never worked with 3D models. That said, my website has been up and running for over a week. I also had a false report and a Google bot gave a false positive. I was in talks with Google support, and they eventually restored it after informing me that everything was fine and it had been an error in their system. Apparently, many blogs across various topics are experiencing this false positive.

If you're using just the dds textures from the face file, then yes. Just pull out the face dds (or tds or whatever they're called in 2k25) files you want to use. Then rename them what's in your 2k24 face file and drag them in.

However, I did notice many of the face file colors were a little off after doing this. So after dragging them in, I'd recommend editing the color values in the face_color.txt file to the following:

Min: 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0
Max: 1.17, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0

You need to use the same min max values in the corresponding default face color files imo.

Either that or colour match the 2k24 one to the 2k25 one in photoshop. I have no idea why they made the base textures in 2k24 so bright and pale, and then countering it with the values in the face_color_o.TXTR file.
