I agree bro. All of the known modders that did draft classes probably charge a fee now. Fortunately Shuajota or 2kspecialist may provide one in the near future. Not saying they confirmed any of this. Just wishful thinking I suppose.jongskie wrote:I wonder why there's still no draft class with cf anywhere? is 2k community dead already? that's really sad![]()

The community is not dead, at least there are still creators like me who continue to create content.
It is true that the activity of the community has greatly decreased compared to when I started, more than 10 years ago. Although the reasons are quite obvious, which I will explain below:
Before, there were many of us creators here just to share our work with others, and it was common to see collaborations. There was a different atmosphere, perhaps healthier, where the goal was to share a passion with the rest. Today, that is almost non-existent, and it only exists with my PCBasket 2K roster. I haven't seen so many people involved in the same project for years.
However, it is true that all of us who had that vision are getting older, many have left the community, and in contrast, there is now a clear tendency to charge for each piece of work (something I respect, everyone is free to ask what they see fit for their work because, after all, it involves hours invested). Perhaps in some cases it is being taken to an extreme that is at least questionable. It's odd now that I, perhaps the person who invests the most hours in this community, continue to share my work for free.
Having said this, one of the main culprits of this significant change are the members of this community themselves, and I am speaking in general. Sometimes many of you are not aware of what it takes to create anything, even more a cyberface, a roster, a draft class, especially if you combine some of them, as is my case. And I feel that we have spoiled this community, myself included, by making what is extremely complicated seem easy.
I have seen and witnessed firsthand how threads have been filled with hate comments, demanding things, zero gratitude, and many people only come here to complain. And that has been the reality of this forum year after year. Believe me, that burns anyone out, and you start to wonder if it's worth continuing to share things.
To give you an idea, a "simple" cyberface involves a huge amount of work because those of us who do renders are basically sculpting a headshape by hand, followed by extensive work in Photoshop for creating the face texture, tattoos, etc. This is further complicated if the player has hair and/or facial hair. Even with many years of practice, I, being quite a perfectionist in my work, can spend 8-10 hours per player. Imagine the amount of time if you're talking about a draft class that includes 30-60 players. It's insane.
And I know that many here do not understand what this entails, because I have read, not once, not twice, but many times comments like, "Hey Shuajota, I hope all players have a cyberface," as if making a cyberface were as simple as doing it in two clicks. The roster that I am creating includes more than 1,400 players where I have had to create not only the DNA of each one, but also team logos, uniforms, arenas, courts, team murals, headshots, portraits, and an endless amount of artwork, and I can´t only focus on cyberfaces.
And after doing all this work and receiving more complaints than thanks on many occasions, I've seen how my work and that of other creators, like Razor, has been used by YouTubers with large subscriber counts who, instead of helping and supporting us by mentioning us in their videos, have exploited it to make money without giving us a single mention, credit, or anything similar. That is truly sad.
Because this has been, and continues to be, the main reason why this community has gotten smaller year after year. Many modders have grown tired of seeing the attitude of many people here. Because, after all, we do this in our free time, which many seem to think, based on their comments, that we work at 2K, and don't have private lives with responsibilities, families, etc.
Regarding the draft classes, there have been several members here who have worked for years, but the reality is that I am one of the few who has remained consistent. I would at least say that I am the only one who continues to create draft classes 100% made by me, and if I haven't worked on that yet, it's because I am extremely focused on the biggest project I have ever created, PCBasket 2K24, which I will release next May 18th. This includes more than 100 new teams.
I usually start updating this project for the next season during July and August, so I'm not going to commit to a specific date, but I will try to create the rookies myself and make my project the most complete to date.
I hope I've answered your question and helped you see why it's not as easy as you suggest and the reasons behind it.
