It's fun to see different players becoming stars and having better careers in these modes. The real John Wall hasn't been so lucky.
Awesome throwback night between the 76ers and Bucks!

T'Wolves lose White for the season
Already all-in on rebulding, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been dealt another cruel blow with their top pick Coby White sidelined for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
LeBron, Mavs lead West, Giannis, Knicks lead East
Looking more than comfortable in Dallas, LeBron James and the Mavericks now sit atop the Western Conference, living up to the hype that saw them as one of the biggest contenders this season. In the East, the Big Apple appears to be as dangerous as ever, with superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo tipped to keep the Knicks as favourites heading into 2020.
West as hot as ever
Proving how treacherous it is, only one game separates the top 4 teams in the Western Conference. With a long way to go, there is sure to be plenty more movement in the coming months.

Together in their prime and healthy, Zion Williamson and Dwight Howard would be quite a formidable duo!

Cool that this reality has its own version of the Karl-Anthony Towns/Rudy Gobert Twin Towers duo, with Davis subbing in for Towns.

Obviously it's not him, but whenever I see J. Richardson, I think of Jason Richardson.

Trade Deadline
8th February 2020
Jazz go all-in on Fox, Middleton

Taking on Anthony Davis' urgency and frustration from last year's missed opportunity, the Utah Jazz were the biggest movers at the deadline, acquiring two major pieces from struggling franchises to supercharge their lineup. Now boasting four potential All-Stars, the Jazz look certain to be Western Conference Finals-bound. For the Nets, a slow start forced their hand, acquiring picks to re-tool around Pascal Siakam and Darius Garland, while the Clippers disappointing performance became too much for the ambitous Fox, who now sits in a prime position to lead the Jazz offense as they make a deep postseason push.
Beal heads to the Mile High City

The Bradley Beal experiment in Detroit ended almost as soon as it started, with key injuries hampering the Pistons ability to cash-in on the former Timberwolves superstar. Beal now joins a middling Nuggets team who looks determined to get back to their recent West-leading form and make a charge to the playoffs. For the Pistons, a younger Caris LeVert and the frontcourt help of Frank Kaminsky with Domantas Sabonis and Mo Bamba has their eyes looking towards next season, rather than a postseason return as originally planned.
Kings part ways with Kuzma

Budding superstar Kyle Kuzma has made his way out of the basement of the Western Conference in Sacramento, hoping to be a vital cog in Phoenix's second-half of the season. Jonathan Isaac, Talen Horton-Tucker and a pick all but confirm another season of misery for the Kings, who hope another highly touted prospect alongside R.J. Barrett can deliver hope to California's capital.
Unsettled Adebayo turns new leaf with rival

In a move that didn't surprise too many with the signing of Nikola Jokic this offseason, Memphis' up-and-comer Bam Adebayo will have room to stretch in New Orleans, joining Karl-Anthony Towns and Jimmy Butler as the Pelicans attempt to return to form. In his place now sits someone who has no issue with coming off the bench, with Two-time Sixth Man of the Year Mason Plumlee now looking to be a lynchpin of the Grizzlies second unit.
Sixers upgrade Cauley-Stein with Vucevic

The opportunistic Sixers have pounced on the wallowing Magic, upgrading the center position with Nikola Vucevic as they look to hold their own in the East. Orlando now sits in the box-seat to work on bringing another superstar to pair alongside Donovan Mitchell this offseason to refresh their chances of joining the East's elite.

Another trade deadline that's way more exciting than the ones in my NBA 2K14 MyCAREER usually are! As much fun as I'm having with that game, the wheeling and dealing around the league is what I miss about franchise gaming. Just doesn't seem to happen as much in the career modes.

Looks like Simmons isn't afraid to shoot in this reality...or indeed, go for the dunk or layup.
