Knicks land Crawford and Williams
NEW YORK, August 5, 2004 -- New York Knickerbockers President, Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that restricted free agent guard Jamal Crawford has been acquired in a sign-and-trade deal, with the addition of forward Jerome Williams, from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for forward Othella Harrington, guard Frank Williams, and centers Dikembe Mutombo and Cezary Trybanski.
Crawford, 6-5, 190-pounds, averaged 17.3 points and 5.1 assists in 80 games - including 71 starts - for the Bulls this past season. His 165 three-point field goals in 2003-04 broke the franchise’s record and he was one of just four players last season to record at least 50 points in a single game (50 points, Apr. 11 at Toronto). Originally selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2000 NBA Draft and then traded to Chicago on Sep. 25, 2000, the four-year NBA veteran has improved his scoring, rebounding and assist averages in each season.
Vin Baker re-signs with Knicks

“Vin gave us a solid presence off the bench at the end of last season and in the playoffs,” Thomas said. “With a fresh start at training camp with the team, we know he’ll be an even more productive force.”
Knicks sign Brewer
New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that free agent guard Jamison Brewer has been signed by the team. As per club policy, terms of the deal are not announced.
Brewer, 6-4, 180-pounds, appeared in 13 games last season for the Indiana Pacers, averaging 2.5 points, 1.3 assists and 12.3 minutes. The three-year NBA veteran has averaged 1.6 points, 1.2 assists and 7.9 minutes over 36 career games.
“The addition of Jamison to our roster helps solidify our backcourt,” Thomas said, who coached the guard at Indiana for two seasons. “He is a great passer and defender with outstanding speed and quickness
Sundov signs with Knicks
New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that center Bruno Sundov has been signed to a contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal are not announced.
Sundov, 7-2, 260-pounds, appeared in four games for the Cleveland Cavaliers and one for the Knicks during the 2003-04 season, averaging 2.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 6.6 minutes. The six-year NBA veteran was signed to a 10-day contract on Jan. 21, 2004 by New York. In 81 career games, the Croatian-native has averaged 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds for the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, Cavaliers and Knicks.
“Bruno will add size and depth to our frontcourt,” Thomas said. “I have monitored his progress throughout his career. We have seen his improvement and feel we are getting him at the right stage of his development.”
Knicks draft Ariza

Ariza, 6-7 and 194 pounds, was selected by the Knicks in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2004 NBA Draft as an early entry selection after playing one season at UCLA. The Miami, FL-native earned All-PAC 10 Freshman Team honors after averaging 11.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 25 games.
Participating in New York’s entry in July’s Summer Pro League in Long Beach, CA, Ariza averaged 14.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 34.0 minutes in four starts.

Recap
With both teams looking to get back on track, get back to winning ways it was the grizzlies who had all the fire power to push the knicks into the cold.James Posey hit for 22 and team mates Mike Miller and Pau Gasol both had 13 each. Memphis liked to push the ball up court for easy baskets which really exposed the lack of knick defence.
With Marbury on the bench in the 3rd the knicks offence fell apart, what was a close game had slipped to a 10 minute gap, a gap that the knicks would not recover. Crawford was a no show for his team shooting 2 of 12 from the field for 6 points. The knicks really have to tighten up there defence if there going to complete this year.
Final Score : 99-86 Grizzlies

Nice work here with the Knicks.

Why don't you host the clips on a site? I could host them for you. It kinda would be a pain to have to e-mail you all of the time.
Nice setup though. Looks like it takes alot of work.

Thanks for all your kind words everyone and its much appreciated Ruff but sadly this will be the last post in this dynasty as iam handing them up in the Dynasty posting world, it does take along time to do and i have very little time to play games let alone post them so iam calling it a day.
Thanks to everyone that took time to read this thread and sorry to anyone who was enjoying it, its been fun starting it but i know that i wont be able to keep it up.

i feel that, this stuff is time consuming. But--why not just cut it in half. Just post stuff about your team. Not the whole league.
I'm only gonna probably play like 4 games a month. The rest I'll probably simulate or intervention it.
BTW-nice update.

I had been thinking about it but i like doing my 82 game seasons where i play every game, since 95 ive only ever finished 2 full 82 game seasons.
This nba live imo has been the best one yet and something iam really really enjoying playing, if i carryed on posting i just know id quit half way though which i dont wanna do. In the first week that i got live 05 i did 15 12 minute quarter games... since i started posting afew days ago i played two.. then did writeups last night alone i played three games coz i didnt have to worry about writing down stats and shit.
Its a nice idea Cocobee but i think iam gonna stay in retirement.
