Just pick a different magazine and newspaper and make a layout that's not exactly the same...

Yes, I know. I am using the Celtics so it can't be the same ;)

Well I guess what he is trying to say is to use your own creative detail.

I will be waiting on Andrew or someone to release some rosters including the missing players before I start playing games. The download for the game finished this morning (Thanks to KobeMVP). It took 3 times for it to work, but it finally worked and I will get some patches downloaded and maybe try to have another magazine issue before the season starts.

Thanks for the comments :o

I'm going to post my opening day rosters sometime today. I'm having a few problems with the Live I downloaded so I will try to get that fixed early today so I can do the rosters.

P.S. I edited my newspaper article to who the Grizzlies waived  So you can check that out again.

Since Andrew said he was going to end up making a roster patch this weekend, then that's when I'm going to start playing my games. Plus I still haven't got my controller yet so that would give me time to do that as well. So hopefully on Saturday, I will start playing.

The Grizzlies new magazine for the 2004-05 season.

November 1, 2004

With the season 2 days from being underway, there have been many questions on how well the Grizzlies will do this season. Was there 50 game win season a fluke? Is Swift really going to play like a 2nd overall pick? Can Jwill have another solid season without going off on the coaches? Will Pau finally become an all-star? Was Posey just a one-year wonder?

Well, we won't no most of those questions until the season starts, but the last question can be answered. Posey is one of the most underrated players in the league, and even though he is still hurt with a broken foot, he is ready to start the season. "I'm not 100% yet, but I can still come in and do my job like I suppose to," Posey said. "This is my time to show people that I'm not fake."

Posey averaged career-highs in PPG, SPG, FG%, 3P% and FT% last season. "He does so much on the court, and runs the floor like a deer. You will be amazed how quick he is on the break," Coach Hubie Brown said.

This season will be filled with answers. The Grizzlies want to be a playoff team once again, Hubie wants Swift to play with heart, and Pau is looking to become an all-star. The Grizzlies season opener is on November 3, 2004 against the Washington Wizards. Be there, or you will miss a historical night in Memphis.

Props to match_66 for helping designing this magazine.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Memphis Grizzlies open their first regular season at FedEx Forum when they host the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.

Fresh off a 50-win campaign that delivered the franchise's first postseason berth, the Grizzlies are expected to be a potent force again in the Western Conference.

They were one of four teams in the conference to post a preseason record of 6-2 or better, winning three of four games at home. At the Pyramid last season, Memphis went 31-10.

In his first full season as coach of the Grizzlies, Hubie Brown won NBA Coach of the Year honors. He will have essentially the same core group back this season, plus a quality workhorse in the frontcourt with the addition of Brian Cardinal, who was signed in July to provide a much-needed physical presence.

Memphis is so deep it was able to waive veteran Bo Outlaw and Troy Bell, both of whom have guaranteed contracts, on Monday.

The Grizzlies won both meetings with the Wizards last season and are 8-8 all-time vs. Washington, one of just two teams Memphis owns a mark of .500 or better against.

Washington has not had a winning November since 1984. They are coming in with a trio of Jamison, Hughes and Areans who all played together in Golden State 2 seasons ago. Arenas made a name for himself in Golden State and it will be interesting to see how the trio gets along in Washington after some comfrontation in Golden State.

PROBABLE STARTERS
Wizards
C-Michael Ruffin
PF-Antawn Jamison
SF-Jarvis Hayes
SG-Larry Hughes
PG-Gilbert Arenas

Grizzlies
C-Lorenzen Wright
PF-Pau Gasol
SF-James Posey
SG-Bonzi Wells
PG-Jason Williams
