2K19 realistic net mod by looyh conversion

Tue Jan 24, 2023 1:11 pm

Does anybody got the knowledge to convert this beautiful net mod by the legend looyh to 2K23?
viewtopic.php?f=241&t=106106&p=1945074#p1945133
The file got locked by him to download in the thread but I uploaded the global file which I still got in my modded 2K19 which contains the 3 necessary net files here https://www.mediafire.com/file/i3nb3u0p ... l.iff/file
It's by far the most realistic net from the newer games but sadly 2K23 crashes while booting up with the scne net file dragged into 2K23's global which I tried although the net model basically hasn't changed since 2K19 and looks exactly the same still. The other 2 files seem to be working properly still. It should be easily convertable to 2K23 from someone with the proper knowledge. Any help or tips are very much appreciated :bowdown2:

Thank you dear Shuajota but you only renamed the 2K19 net files to 2K23's ones, right?
I did the same and got the same result as you, with that method the net isn't placed properly on the rim like it should and there's some space in between if you look closely that isn't the case on looyh's initial mod for 2K19.
What I meant with converting is that it looks exaclty the same as it looked on looyh's initial mod which originally also includes a scne file as well (I am not sure if this might be for the correct positioning of the net on the rim) but the game crashes while booting up if it's dragged in the global.

No, I used three files from his 2K19 global. You probably forgot to include his scne file. That´s the 3D model.

I tried including the scne file as i wrote in my Initial post but the game crashed with it dragged from 2k19's global. Either way, thankfully 2kspecialist made it work properly as posted above without the empty space between the rim and the net as in your conversion.

Shuajota already structured the download to where you can just drag in the net files

net_cloth_c.ed44367ed8a9200e
net_cloth_n.4afa652112150cd0
and the net_cloth.SCNE with its .model file.
